Same sex marriage isn't inevitable, we're far closer to a Constitutional Amendment to define marriage as one man and one woman than any other position. Keeping marriage as is, that's moderate, centrist and reasonable. Novel new reforms for marriage or criminalizing impolitic relationships are the extremist and radical positions.

Polygamy is criminally banned; same sex cohabitation and marriage isn't.
LOL!!!!! Too funny, dude. Keep 'em coming! We can't make up stuff as delusional as this.

Good stuff!!

Ad hominem is a logically false argument. Besides being childish, bullying and impolite, arguments based on insult are intrinsically false.

Most people support same sex marriage because it makes them feel good. They believe in gender equality because that's what they were taught to feel. Individual whim trumps the rules of society when it makes them feel good.

Most people support it because they feel that the government should not discriminate based on sexual orientation

There is no gender equality right in the Constitution, our laws recognize men and women are different, that's natural law.

Same sex marriage brings a dangerous new standard of gender segregation to perfectly integrated male/female marriage.

"The founders were not claiming that all individuals are equal in their personal attributes, such as physical strength, intelligence, or artistic talent. They were not saying that a government is established to enforce equality or uniformity in the way people think, act, or live. Rather, the founders were committed to establishing a government that would guarantee equally to all individuals the rule of law and security for liberty under the law."

"perfectly integrated male/female marriage"??

Obviously you don't know many married hetero couples!

About the ONLY thing they have in common is an attraction for the opposite sex.

They spend their entire marriage bitching about how their wife won't let them go fishing or hunting or watch football or hang out with the guys; or how their husband won't take her to dinner or shopping or to the opera etc.

They spend their entire marriage trying to spend as much time as possible with their friends of the same gender and with as little time with their spouse as possible.

99% of hetero couples are completely incompatible because of their gender difference, which is why the divorce rate is so high.

On the other hand, most same-sex couples enjoy the exact same interests. I had no trouble finding a spouse who likes to hunt, fish, kayak, watch sports or scifi movies, go camping, hiking, biking, etc. Many others had no trouble finding a spouse who likes to shop or decorate or go to the opera or have dinner parties etc.

How many straight men can say the same about their spouse? About the ONLY thing they like about her is her cat (think about it)......

Then it is OK for you to lie up a storm then. Have at it. Ooh, a detective? I thought little boys wanted to be firemen or cowboys, but detective is nice too.

... a Saturday afternoon and all you have is TOPIX. Loser.... BTW, if I'm lying, provide a link? Regurgitating fecal gas through your mouth is a good way to blow your face off, which in your case would be a real improvement.

YOU'RE on Topix on a Saturday afternoon too...so in your own words, that makes you a loser too, right? Along with all of us posting right now, right? We're all losers, according to your standards, right?

Oh, really? What does that say about YOU, patiently replying to every Topix post you can get your sweaty Cheetos stained fingers onto fast enough?

I've said many times that I am a landscape artist and am home all the time. I get tired of painting and clean my hands and come up here to play a while and then go back to work.

BTW, I am having an art show here in Palm Springs in early April, actually all of April, the opening night is April 5. Be sure to pop on by. Take Hwy 74 Palm to Pines Hwy, over the mountains from San Diego. There are more fatal wrecks on that stretch than almost anywhere else. Make sure you drive fast and text and stare at the views, please.
