<quoted text>Look up his DAVID MOORE site in Pekin, Illinois. There is a nice photo of him with a huge ugly cross in his back yard, but the best photo is of him a wife beater standing in it looks like Sea Cliff area with the Golden Gate Bridge behind him. WHAT was that pinnacle of homophobia doing in such an outfit in San Francisco?
He was polluting the city with his presence and spoiling the view of the bridge. Why didn't he just go to Oklahoma City or Lynchburg, Virginia?

He does suspiciously seem to frequent gay venues. The Las Vegas Hilton reported the theft of a shirt from Liberace's dressing room in 1983. And as you can see by David's religious pictures, his blue-eyed Jesus is wearing it.

I'm sure he spent most of his visit there at Pier 39 or Alioto's or some other touristy site, shoving down Irish Coffees like there was no tomorrow. After his wifey decided to take a nap, and he went "out for some air" God knows WHERE he ended up, or down.

<quoted text>When I was a young kid, my parents took us on a tour of Mission Santa Barbara. At the end of the tour there was a big collection plate for "Donations". Recall it WAS the 60's so there were many coins in the plate. We had barely left the door and within SECONDS I could hear the priest who had led the tour "clink clink clink" counting the coins. That is all we need to know about churches.
When I was a very young man (compared to today), my employer badgered me to go to one of those "tent meetings". They were held in St. Louis two or three times a year in a very central location, and you'd be amazed at how many people showed up. I didn't want to go, but in those days I thought you did what your employer wanted in order to keep your job. In any event, they used the old gag of a "Sea of Green". People lifted up there arm with a wad of bills, and "ushers" made the rounds grabbing the money. I, of course, didn't make enough to do so. And there was the fact that I wasn't a believer. They had bags stuffed with bills at the end of the meeting, and then they packed up their tent, loaded the trucks, and were off to the next fleecing.

Read about another fundy retard of the month.
The "God Hates Sweden" website was created as a response to the imprisonment of another retarded fundie who publicly made bigoted statements against homosexuals in Sweden.
On top of all of this, Fred Phelps is a sexist as he believes women are not allowed to preach. His website quotes the following biblical passages as evidence:
"1 Tim. 2:9-14 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1 Cor. 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
For his unbelievable display of idiocy and disrespect for the entire human race generated by religion, Fred W. Phelps is being awarded The Retard of the Month Award.
Fred Phelps is even more goofy than David M.

i like to recall his fine career as an actor. Remember "Earthquake" with Charlton Heston and Ava Gardner? Marjoe played a psychotic army reservist who tries to rape Victoria Principal. Other than that, I can't really recall seeing much of him since then, and that was about 1973 or so.

"When I was traveling (as a minister), I'd see someone who wanted to get saved in one of my meetings, and he was so open and bubbly in his desire to get the Holy Ghost. It was wonderful and very fresh, but four years later I'd return and that person might be a hard-nosed intolerant Christian because he had Christ. That's when the danger comes in. People want an experience. They want to feel good, and their lives can be helped by it. But then as you start moving into the operation of the thing, you get into controlling people and power and money."

<quoted text>Standing up for Christian belief is not bigotry, you ignorate hateful anti-Catholic bigot!
No Christian can ever bless or affirm what God repeatedly condemns in both Testaments.
Homosexual 'marriage' is a cruel lie with no real basis in how homosexuals live. It has been OVERWHELMINGLY rejected as an actual practice by homosexuals in every country that allows it.
There is no legitimate reason for the government to be involved in any legal homosexual relationship.
Well, Moralist - Do you believe all gays should be killed??? They've always been around and always will be.

P.S. You sure sound like a loving, religious person.

Believe what you want, but it's people like YOU who encourage gaybashings, whether intended to or not. It makes homophobes feel justified in their hatred. What the hell are you afraid of and how does homosexual marriage affect YOU? Is that as bad as being *gasp* a Jew?
