Gay marriage normal now, says Clegg

Oct 24, 2013 Full story: Hampshire Chronicle 362

Gay marriage already feels normal and matter of fact, Nick Clegg said tonight as he was presented with an award for helping to push through the controversial reforms.

A birth defect is a disorder. Wow, you can't make this stuff up.
That doesn't seem to stop you from trying.

Still got nothing, huh? No scientific or medical sources to back up EITHER claim? No research? No findings? No studies? No conclusions? NOTHING? All you've done since the LAST time I asked you for some evidence was decide that a birth defect and disorder are the same thing? Go tell that to a solider suffering from Post Traumatic Stress DISORDER, and see if they think it was a DEFECT they had since birth.

Now please, DO stop making this stuff up. Find some SUPPORT of what you're saying. If you want to look even MORE foolish, then by all means come back with MORE nothing.

Answer the question.
Whose "order" is "disordered"?
Ordered by whom?

The meaning and implications are couched in the language used.

So which "order" is being "disordered", and how was that "order" established, by whom, and how has it been tested and verified?

This isn't a frivolous question, so why duck it?

Any semi-intelligent person would know a birth defect is a disorder. They would also know that a disorder doesn't have to be a birth defect.

Maybe your gay dictionary has different meanings for words. I don't have a copy, don't want one either.

Of course you haven't heard of Hazel Massery. I'm sure you dropped out of school before History classes started.

Straight Pride shirts are available on line. Knock yourself out idiot.

Notice that no one cares about your straight pride parade. Tons of gays don't get their panties in a bunch over your expressing yourself. Too bad stupid numbnuts like yourself couldn't exhibit the same courtesy and mind your own damn business.

Keep dissembling, maybe you'll be an expert at it one day. You'll still never have any proof, evidence or scientific support that homosexuality is a disorder OR a defect.

When you make a claim, you need to be able to back it up. When someone REPEATEDLY asks you to do so, and you REPEATEDLY change the subject, waffle over definitions, try to quote strangers online, or do anything OTHER than hunt down and present the proof requested, then you're just another hilarious liar.

You don't need a "gay dictionary". You need a homophobic scientific panel to support your unsupported nonsense. You don't even have THAT much.

<quoted text>Actually, it is YOU that has the issue with defining what is normal.......the poster who's nic is Rainbow Kid simply stated that he has the SAME attraction to men as your mother does or ANY other straight woman meaning it is JUST as normal for him to be attracted to men as it is for your mother......that in NO way means he has a disorder.......it just means that for him to like men is as NORMAL to him as it is NORMAL for a woman to be attracted to men!!!

By the way....there is NO empty spot in either a Gay person's life or a Lesbian's life strictly because they can NOT have children between them......or are you saying that infertile/sterile opposite-sex couples ALSO have an empty spot in their lives because they can't have children between themselves?

You certainly spend a helluva lot of time trying to tell those of us who are Gay or Lesbian that somehow based solely on your natural ability to procreate that we have LESS fulfilling lives and we don't.......most of us have natural biological children whom we love, raise and grown into productive adults who marry and have families of their own........and then you speak of kids being brainwashed in school to believe that being Gay or Lesbian is normal......well guess what......IT IS and you prove just how much you brainwash your children to dislike others simply because they don't live the way you do.......sad:(
Gays thrive on being "different"! Your freaking flag is representative of "different " types of gay. Each color for a "different" type of homo. You live to not be normal.

Actually, you'd be wrong......each color of the Rainbow flag has meaning and here is what they mean:
Red => Life

Orange => Healing

Yellow => Sunlight

Green => Nature

Blue => Serenity/Harmony

Purple => Spirit

This is the meaning to the colors in the current Rainbow Pride Flag:-)

Here is a link to the History of the Pride Flag:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_flag_ (LGBT_movement)

In the past your statement about being different was probably a true statement because Gays and Lesbians did want to express themselves differently than their straight counterparts.......HOWEVER, in today's society I would have to disagree seeing that most Gays and Lesbians just want to live their lives by what they believe is moral and right not only for themselves, but for their families as well.......and there are heterosexual couples and families who strive to live life as they see fit.......funny thing, families are just that regardless of the sexual orientations involved!!!

Now, at the end of your comment, you decided to make it specifically regarding me personally and you DON'T know me......I DON'T live my life to be different.....I live my life in order to be there for my wife, my biological adult child and my grandchild.......and pretty much as normal as ANY other family who lives close to us.

So, in reality....I'm very much a typical average NORMAL American Disabled Veteran......living my life as I see fit, following the laws that have been set for me, don't do drugs, don't gamble and I don't drink alcohol!!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and Thank a Vet for your freedoms!!!

You have no proof from the AMA or any of the other "major medical" organizations. I have eyes, they work, when I see two men or two women in public displays of affection I'm seeing abnormal behavior. It would be better if you kept it in your rooms.

Here's where you say straight people should keep it in their rooms as well. I saved you some time. I also agree.

The World Health Organization qualifies. And its detailed listing of diseases and disorders, ICD-10, doesn't list homosexuality as either. Diagnosis codes used by all hospitals and medical practitioners in the US are based on the ICD-10. So homosexuality isn't a diagnosis of a disease or disorder either in the US.

So you're just a f-ing liar.

I looked, guess what I found. You're piggy backing on racial issues, again, that have since been resolved. Homosexuality and gay marriage have nothing to do with any of that. It's a separate issue. Do you have a stand alone argument other than 'I want to because they can?'

If you had enough brain power, you might realize that some parents and churches still teach children the same kind of prejudice toward gay people that Hazel learned toward black people. Many of them will grow up to regret actions they take when they are too young and inexperienced to make better judgments than their parents.

But of course, you love wallowing in your prejudice toward gays, and you are determined to pass it on to as many youth as you can.

Perhaps you had better have a deeper "look" at what those who have directly experienced those "racial issues", AND who are also gay, have to say about your assertion of "separate issue".

Your most prevalent problem on these threads is the Reification Fallacy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reification_fall...

Just because you create pigeon holes does not magically cause reality to divide itself accordingly.

You are prone to a great number of others.

Would you like me to list them and give examples?

We could start a thread specifically for such discussion. I'm sure that many would enjoy contributing their own experiences with your penchant for fallacious reasoning and argumentation.
