I don't think we bailed them out, I know we bailed them out. The $50K came from our weekly collections, so yes, I personally contributed to the "bail out." As far as the Festa, yes, I was there working to support the church as I do every year. The question is - were you?
What do those of you hope to accomplishment by making the same statement over and over again? Once again, and again, and again...There's unity for ya. As far as the festa, my answer is the same as yours - yes, as I do every year. So, what is it your searching for?...the 50K, a medal or a chest to pin it on?

I don't believe anyone would have brought the bailout up if it was not for all of the derogatory remarks that have been made about how bad the Transfig people are and how we will never go to the bad church on main street. Then on top of it all say things like we want our church back free and clear. Most Transfig people were glad to do the Bail out until the trash talk began.

....The only thing I get is that Waynes' comments as well as your own would almost be laughable but I don't think the two of you can help yourself!

. You are not making any sense. After a while people get tired of being put down. The transfig people at least a few are finally speaking up now and you cant take it. If you dish it you should be able to take it. You think the Ttransfig people liked having their savings raided? Well it happened and there was nothing we could do. They didnt go cry to the bishop they moved on and so should you.

If the obvious reasons need to be explained then you people really are blind. Open your eyes and look at the two churches. Seriously? These reasons don't need to be explained if you seek the truth. Yes, stagnant waters do die. All the people at the Park Avenue location care about is their Festa and the free handouts that their former priest provided using the parishoner's money. Stop being so closed minded. The best thing for MOnongahela is to combine the two churches. However, people would rather keep their selfish agendas in tact.

It is not almost laughable , it is laughable. This whole mess should have been settled and the parish should be moving forward. Instead the diocese has given no leadership leaving good people to argue. This will continue as long as there is no direction.

So..You say the obvious reasons are the festa and the free handouts provided by their former priest..Animosity anyone? How do you know what the people at the "Park Avenue location" care about? Did you ever take the time to ask them?

I referred to your comments as being almost laughable not this "whole mess"..Nothing laughable about it. Are you one of the "good people" left to argue, Wayne?..Your comments suggest just that!

Congratulations for using mafia money and manipulations to have your way with Park Ave. church. Not only will this divide the church more but both churches will eventually become closed. Personally, I will not support anything that this group of people do. If the Park Ave. location would've been the first location chosen, I would not have cared. Now that the mafioso has intervened there is no way I will support St. Anthonys. What a mockery you people have made.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!...Now that is laughable! Mafia money? You wouldn't be suggesting that all the parishioners attending the "Park Ave." location are Italian mobsters?(Nah..not "You people")

Those "people" you speak of can and will survive all of the innuendo and insults that "You people" continue to "dish out". The comments from "You people" are getting more outrageous by the minute!

You people????? One person makes a comment and its you people????? There are more Italians at the bad church (as you might say) than at the church on the hill!!! This conversation is really losing traction now.
