In the absence of divine revelation, man never would know with certainty anything about the existence of life beyond this one.
That doesn't address the dispute between us regarding your definition of the phrase "the Word of God".

What is the Koine word that you are translating as "soul"? What was the Hebrew Aramaic that the Koine translated from?
You want to know the meaning of what was said? Then dig a little to discover what was meant at the time.
It is the entity in each one of us that perceives, remembers, reasons, wills, prays, hopes, believes, loves, sins, repents and can be saved.

How valuable is your SOUL???

We survive by knowing and accepting the truth. We are naturally very perceptive, and have an innate sense for hypocrisy.

Yes, lots of Jewish massacres around that time... any excuse for some, it would seem.

First, that soteriology is heresy.
Now let's look at this again, in analogy ...
I am pissed off at you, so kill some of my pets and I'll fell better about you. Better, kill my kid and I'll call it all good.
It's nuts, and in such a way that only a primitive and brutal mind can be.
The whole message of Yeshua was that such did not express the character of the Father.
God calls us by His glory and virtue....

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

Which leads us to imitate Him....

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the ~~~~~corruption in the world caused by evil desires.~~~~~

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge...

Are you acquainted with how the Jewish people of time used the term?

Always the best place to start one's quest for understanding Jewish thought of that, and prior, periods.

That is Saul's Stoicism, and the root of the manicheist heresy.

That doesn't "follow through" at all. Dismissed for lack of evidence.

That is just Saul and his peculiar etiology. It's not prophetic utterence. How can it be? He was not a prophet, but a heretic and apostate.
Paul was called to be an apostle.

Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, CALLED to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God.

He was an apostle to the Gentiles.

I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry.

Apostle not from men or man but by Jesus Christ and God the Father.

Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead.

Paul was an apostle of Jesus by God’s will.

So I've already said we can't take the bibles literally, and in order to disprove that, you want me to read a bible quote?

There is no original ancient works from Homer, Plato, Caesar or Aristotle either yet the copies we have of their works show what the their original works were. For the NT, its even better.
False.

1. Since there is no original with which to compare them, we can only make assumptions. We cannot say that every word is intact in any of those manuscripts.

2. If a word is off in a novel, who cares? If a word is off in a bible: much bigger deal.

Get right with God and stop accepting "probably accurate for the most part" as good enough for Him.
