You poke fun, but some believe if a couple gets married and finds that one is infertile, then they are to divorce and the fertile partner is to remarry and procreate and the infertile is not permitted to remarry. A marriage without the chance of natural reproduction is not considered a valid Biblical marriage by these folks, so divorce is not just permitted is practically mandated.

I have also read that sex is only Biblically permitted during a woman's fertile cycle. Any other sexual contact is not permitted.

The rabbit hole is deeper than any of us can likely imagine if the truth is told as it was on this other forum.
