Your "god", as you describe him, is in control and micromanaging.

If I create a defective product, I get sued.

It's easy to see why he's so big on forgiveness. He really, really needs it.

In the creation myth, who created the apple and the tree, and just so happened to place it dead center of His "new world"? Then He carefully warned the new and ignorant humans not to eat the pretty apples, or wonderful things will happen.

Then, He creates a talking snake whose sole purpose was to tempt the ignorant new humans, and they make one mistake. Just one. A mistake God knew they would make when he created them, the tree, and sent the snake. Then, God condemns not only them, but every single human ever to be born, to suffer terribly for that one mistake, made by an innocent and ignorant brand new human.

If a human Father did such a thing, they would be jailed for child abuse.

If God condemned them as you claim, why did He sacrifice His only Son to undo the sin of Adam?

Then you should have no need of continually trying to stick your square ideas into the rest of heterosexual humanity, but here you are, still at it.

Why the contradiction?

So here is your dilemma: projecting you own needs for forgiveness unto God.

Good luck suing Him; I hear He has a Jewish lawyer for a son.

No contradiction. As long as folks like you try to create laws and beliefs that directly harm gay folks, expect to have them overturned, negated or changed, whenever legally possible.

Why in the world would you think we would allow anyone to harm us, and our families, without a fight? God didn't bless us with our lives, our loves, and our families just to let folks like you try to damage them through ignorance and fear.

see Romans 5:17-19.
See Genesis -

16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Let's characterize that.

I'm pissed at you, but if you kill some of my pets I'll get over it.

(time passes)

Killing my pets doesn't do it for me anymore. Kill my son and I'll accept you into the family.

That's not just heresy ... it's NUTS !

Why did God have to (temporarily) kill (an incarnation of) Himself to undo his own actions? It doesn't make any sense.

It's like if a kidnapper locked you up and started starving you and then later gave you his hamburger. Be thankful! I sacrificed MY hamburger so YOU could eat!

Whose own actions?
Who ate that apple: God, or man?

It remains an accurate encapsulation of your stated soteriology.

In the Levitical Hebrew writings, violations of the contract require killing some of your god's creatures (his "pets").

In the Sauline writings you quoted, violations of the contract required the killing of your god's son.

I agree. It's stupid.

Worse ... it's NUTS.

The same creatures we kill for food and clothing, or do you and PETA have a problem with that too?

When did Jesus himself say that he came to earth to be sacrificed to undo the Sins of Adam, specifically?

Most of the teachings ascribed directly to Jesus were parables designed to teach people how to live on earth. Wasn't that His primary goal? Or was his main purpose to die?
