....I believe people are becoming better cooks and getting very creative..my friend makes a fortune selling quick recipe's on line from cookies to roast beef,everyone has a recipe of their own and nearly everyone loves to share it..its part of human bonding,food can bring more than a full stomach..think of thanksgiving.

Although I collect cookbooks of all styles and eras but I love that I can go online and pull up many variations of any recipe with just a simple search. Sometimes I'll just look up the ingredients I have on hand to get new ideas of ways to fix them.

My son has this thing about coming up with odd combinations and searching to see if someone has made them. Most of the time they do exist, such as Fried Soup and Bacon Ice Cream.
