Mayor, where is the sweeper. In insted of wasting our tax $$ on cutting the grass on private lots, send the sweeper out on the street. Let the tax payers enjoy some of the hard earned tax money. You friends and contributors can afford to pay for their own grass cutting, right!

Hoover, notice the sand truck out early the a.m.. Yelp! no problem finding someone to operate the tri-axles. Mayor, why not use the same drivers to operate the sleepy sweeper?

The answer has to be...overtime, time and a half or double pay. Drivers willing jump to work during bad weather but must refuse to drive the sleepy sweeper on regular pay. Yet, it could be they never receive a request from the Mayor.

Mayor, no snow or ice this week. How about working the sleepy sweeper? This streets remind me of the days of old. Only thing missing is the horse crap.

No need to say the city is short of money. Just cut back a little on the salary increases, yours and the Councils, problem solved.

What's wrong with the sweeper? Tax payers finally see the equipment out "working" and it's not effective. Checked out several different locations once the driver sweep the gutter. It's not working but maybe 60% effectively. How can something the costs as much as that sweeper and leave grass clipping behind? GRASS CLIPPING?????
The driver doesn't understand how to operate, or, doesn't really care about the results.

Where's the sweeper? The purchase price was too high just to let it sit in storage.

Need to find more drivers? Get the HUMMER MAN behind the wheel.

BREAKING NEWS!!!

Sleepy sweeper has disappeared again. Last time seen on main street and on hwy 44 touring the county.
Mayor lets correct the problem, bring the sleepy sweeper out of moth balls, instruct the driver to drop the brushes and turn on the suction power. AND... cover all the city streets.

Mayor Calhoun...must you be reminded each and ever time to get the Sleepy Sweeper busy cleaning up the streets. Use a little logic, fireworks, grass clipping, road dust and road trash.

WOW!!!

Yes alcohol sales would be good for sunday because it will create a new license about 500$ a app and that money should only go to one thing improving Mount Washington sidewalks streets lights will that happen no

Sorry, good idea except this group, Mayor Calhoun and Council members Armstrong, Gentry, Houckenbury and Troutman would make some excuse using gray accounting and convert the funds to salary increases. Their own.

Keep the masquerade going, vote for Barry Armstorng. He's an expert in foolish spending, tax increases and lining his own pocket by annual salary increases.

Way to go Barry!
