It's sad , after years of poverty and civil wars to make Ethiopia a great country. The best thing they have accomplished was open a malt liqueur factory. How is that going to help Ethiopia. This people trying to turn Ethiopians into alcoholics and steal there hard earned money. Ethiopia is a heart breaking nation.

Setting your self on fire is better than Sad. You became a martyr.

I would not set my self on fire for no one or even Ethiopia , it's a country of multiple tribes , most I have no relation with. It would be very foolish of me to set my self on fire for people I don't know. I love my self.

No am not. I don't like EPLF. They are killing Eritreans everyday and selling them on the open market.

As you said, you don't have any relation with Ethiopia. Thanks for your concern as a human being. Building Malt Factory isn't wrong doing at all. I didn't see in the world that their population become beer addictive due to malt factory built on their area.

Identify yourself! How come you post this if you are Ethiopian? or is it because you literacy regarding economy is limited? Don't you know about value chain? A malt factory in Gondar has multiple effects, economically speaking! It saves foreign currency,Opens job opportunities and thus creat other business around there to serve employees;and last but not least creats a market for barrely growing farmers all over Ethiopia!

It's not going to bring foreign currency to Ethiopia. If they had any idea , it was best to buy up all the liqueur company under one name and grow from there. This liqueur business ( and I was just there in Ethiopia ) were all opened because the men who Owen them didn't know what else to do with there money. So they just keep opening liqueur Factories. They have no idea of the consequences. 99% will run out business. They are not going to pass the standard of the world trade. And they don't possess the capita to make the world choose them over American or German beer. If it wasn't for poverty Ethiopian would drink Heineken like water.

Ethiopia is importing malt from Europe and thus this new factory will save some!Almost all breweries are already sold to international brewers!

I don't think Ethiopia should worry about bee. International brewers didn't buy our beer because they like them , they bought them to shut them down. They are not going to brew your beer for you , they buy and shut it down after a while , once you get used to there beer. Kill the competitions is the name of the game.
