In its rejection of the newspapers’ appeal issued last week, the Army found that the Madigan reports should remain exempt from public disclosure requirements in the Freedom of Information Act because they contain confidential material that shaped Army decisions.??????
Too much power here covering up hospital corruption! Read the whole story and see the answers given...they don't make a lot of sense because someone is to blame but who (or should I say whom)???

I as a med lab specialist in the old Madigan AMC. I as working in the blood bank one night when someone in the ER delayed bringing me cross-match order by several hours; the patient died. They tried to blame me and, in less than 24 hours, were talking about a possible court martial. Fortunately, a pathology resident had been with me for a couple hours during the time the ER personnel claimed to have delivered the cross-match. I got cleared and the ER said they would conduct their own internal investigation. I wanted answers but nothing came of it. Someone got away with murder and tried to scapegoat me. Were it not for this incident, I may have stayed in the army but, after that experience "FTA." The army had a way of putting incompetent people out of the way where they couldn't do any harm (or promoting tem to another location) and working the chit out of people who could actually do the work.
