The homeless who have absolutely nothing to do with being veterans will not leave Daytona to seek help they want to stay in the tax free hand out organization zone. They can pretend to get on a waiting list pretend to be veterans and blame everything on the idea that they have to wait. Or they can go to Gainesville tolerate the homeless conditions get on a waiting list and blame the mayor because accommodations are not up to their high standards of being homeless. Who will offer a situation as greedy and underhanded as Crazy Eddie ? nobody Gainesville doesn't want to destroy their reputation. Tail Gate Parties College Sports youth... Government in Daytona will not tolerate those ideas without putting a problem in front of it!!!

In most places, being homeless is a choice for people who do not want to live by the same standards as the people of the community they reside in. There are already enough social service agencies and non-profit groups out there to deal with 98% of the homeless population IF the homeless are willing to stop drinking, doing drugs and begin abiding by the laws of the society they wish to live in.

Legislation determines the fine of those laws. City ordinance will impose those fines as a form of dependency. When the homeless become too dependent getting arrested on major- or minor offenses become a major inconvenience in tax costs. Those tax costs are enabling the tax payer to the point of becoming equal to the problem that's been\ created. Homeless? Nowhere to go- three hot's and cot sounds good. The 2010 census was a population of 61000 plus it' an estimate determined by fractions and long division that tells people it does not have to be accurate just general population. The vote determines a census [there really is no equal voting in Volusia County] Crime rate is an estimate that determines the local business tax = fewer businesses] it's an estimate where being homeless becomes a crime in the first offense] Three hot's and cot sounds good. here we are dependent again.%98 is a message that this crime rate is telling people it's gone too far- no accuracy to the message or the %98 it's a message that should be banned from the media for not being accurate. Give us the facts- present the solution which is tough for Volusia County [no state- federal funding] money is being reused and put back into the system. That's money laundering!!
