WHY is what I ask daily is WHY the wait in YEARS???? Why are there homeless Vets on the streets? WHY are Veterans turned away from JOBS?
WHY are Veterans coming home to NO home as in forclosed on? WHY cause the American people do not realy stand up for our Veterans who are coming home daily! If more people who are watching TV and doing nothing made a few calls to there congress man or letters to the VA more would happen faster then it is! We have more homeless Vets on the street today then we did after Vietnam War! Todays Vets get a welcome home then dumped! More people who hate the wars or dislike the wars or who like what is going on NEED to make Washington know your upset over how Veterans are being treated!
More Americans need to help our Vets fight for his rights for awards to jobs to a roof over his head!
Veterans do give back once they get out of the services but they can't give back to a city or town with NO jobs and NO home to call home!
it will take ALL of us vets and non vets to get the help our Veterans of yesterday and today to get back on there feet.

I wish I could answer your questions. They are good questions and YES WASHINGTON NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS!
The only thing I can say is get to know your veteran who has fought overseas and just wants a place to belong. Talk to these veterans who have taken orders to do their jobs and come home to a troubled country and try and 'fit in' and 'adjust'.
We are a severely troubled nation when we cannot support our veterans for what our nations flag is 'supposed' to mean to us as Americans.
Our country has gone through a lot of changes but our vet is busy taking orders overseas and nationwide to protect our 'freedoms'. When you disillusion the veteran, you lose your backbone to this country so be aware of what the consequences become. These veterans are human also in spite of the spirit they portray on the outside for their country. They just wear a uniform and take orders from a troubled military and society morals. Then they come home and try and live a 'normal' life but suffer because they are labeled for doing their jobs to protect this nation. When you lose the backbone that protect this nation, you lose a lot and the results are what you see today!
