fyi-I'm a Swedish American with ties to Norway, and we only have a ban on assault weapons..
"According to the Swedish Shooting Sport Association (Svenska skyttesportförbundet), most of the licence holders are members of the Home National Guard or members of the military who engage in shooting competitions in their spare time."
"And no new licenses are being issued. The fact that Swedish championships in submachine guns exist is a holdover from the Armed Forces. It's the only category we have that's automatic, and it's on its way out," he said.
Run scared.

For you it is the only way.

The 2nd allows you to have a firearm.

The 2nd does not say how to use it (no self defense is mentioned)or when to use it or what firearm types you are allowed to have!
.
It is the gun scumbag lovers who has taken the 2nd to areas and extrapolated it beyond it's original intention! The abuse of this right is dragging this country and others into a deadly chaotic end!

For a cheese eating surrender monkey, you almost get it right.

However, like the peasant you are, you misinterpret.

The 2nd Amendment protects the right to keep and bear arms specifically, because the founding fathers knew the Gov almost always goes after guns (and free speech) 1st. It also protects from little slaves like you who like to live disarmed. There are not enough slaves in this country to nullify the 2nd Amendment.

You are correct that it also does not limit what we the people can have, and any man portable weapon not designed to kill thousands should be available, just like it was back then.

You must be one of those idiot savants.

Firearms are the cause of a lack of jobs , poverty and social injustice.

Firearms also cause solar flairs , pandemic infections and global warming.

I am with you , brother.

The Second Amendment was written by men who ACTUALLY lived under a tyrant and knew the necessity of citizens to be armed to prevent such from happening again.
These SAME Founding fathers created what would become the Most Powerful Superpower the World has EVER Known.

What have you done lately?

The NRA is made up of U.S. citizens who collectively petition their ELECTED representatives to protect their rights and the Constitution of the U.S.A.

Do you have a problem with citizens informing their representatives of their wishes?

Ignore the question but try to change the issue with a degrading remark.

1. Name calling: debater tries to diminish the argument of his opponent by calling the opponent a name that is subjective and unattractive.
2. Changing the subject: debater is losing so he tries to redirect the attention of the audience to another subject area where he thinks he can look better relative to the person he is debating, but admits to no change of subject and pretends to be refuting the original on-subject statement of his opponent.
