I am open to dating Black women. But not all have the same interest as mine. I don't like rap music. I don't talk Ebonics.

I like girls that talk and act a certain way. Does that make me a racist?

Im not sure if I ONLY like white men but i wouldn't mind being with one that is well educated and knows what he's talking about. As for me, i wouldn't wanna go out with a white guy thaqt has a black dialect, or acts ghetto. i would rather be with someone who would be himself.

I'm a black woman married to a Turk (not white, I know) and I hate it when he tries to speak ebonics or "black dialect". He does it because he thinks it's funny. I don't speak ebonics. I think it's a rude, vulgar language that needs to be extinct real fast (and also, I don't feel like going out and buying an urban dictionary just to understand it).

This isn't weird. I think its a cultural thing and you just feel more comfortable around people who are like you. I'm Black and I grew up in the OC and I'm not exactly the stereotype of Black women, haha. My name is even "Becca/Becci", which people always make fun of....:/ But I meet a lot of White guys who like me, and I've always figured that they will approach me a lot easier because I'm like them culturally, even if I am Black. Still, I know how dumb it is to think all Black women are going to be stereotypical. Most Black people in America are Middle class and now I live close to a college and my town has many Black girls like me. Lots of my friends are just like me. I also meet Black guys who AREN'T comfortable with my accent and how I act because its too "different" than what they're used to though, and many of them think I'll be conceited or stuck up. So its just a cultural thing and about familiarity I guess.

Some Oreos Girls are attractive. It is just the constant putting on the "I'm better than you attitude" around only Black men. That can get a little annoying.

That is why most Black men avoid those Black-White Chicks.

Well I'm black native American and Irish. I love folk music. Folk metal, black metal, melodic death metal, symphonic metal, Viking metal, Neo-classical and etc.... And my family calls me a Oreo because of that. I talk regular, and I'm down to earth. But I can't stand the types of black girls and guys who do act like they are better than the rest of the blacks. I sure as hell don't act like that but I do try to keep away from the ghetto ones.

Viking Metal? lol

Do you purposely seek out this type of music to separate yourself from "normal" black culture?

nope. I never liked rap hip hop and that stuff. I fell in love with metal and stuck with it. See this is the problem. Once someone sees what race you are, you are no longer a human being with a mind and personal interests. You are all of a sudden a clone of that ethnicity. my teacher is Indian and my whole class thought that he was religious and listened to Indian music but he was the opposite. He wasn't religious and he listened to rap and hip hop. I am who I am and I don't care. This was how I was born. I don't even like humans that much if I had the choice to be an alien I wouldnt think twice.

But aren't you guilty of the same thing? You are assuming Black people listen to rap and hip hop. You do know that 95% of all albums are purchased by white kids right?

It's ok to listen to all types of music. You don't have to be born into any type. You will be just type casting yourself into another group. There are many, many, many Black kids that listen to rock. They all believe that they are anti-conformist. Now that is truly hilarious.

Look MUMRA I'm not assuming anything I'm just arguing that when people see me they think i listen to rap and hip hop. You think the same thing because if you didn't you wouldn't have asked me that question about seperating myself from normal black culture. I don't even like rock. I hate those stupid punk rock kids and emo kids. I listen to metal. I don't dress all weired or anything. I don't flaunt it to get peoples attention. I'm a regular kid. I have normal friends. All of them are black. They listen to rap and hip hop but they aren't ghetto. They are smart well rounded girls, and we all have good heads on our shoulders. The only difference is that I'm a metal head and they are not. So I'm not trying to conform to anything. I'm just being who I was meant to be. Myself, and no one can argue that because between me and the other person who would know me more? Yes! Me!

I know what type your talking about..the ones that dont act ghetto? yes! this is what ive been talking about. It tends to be the more nice acting ones that date white guys..the ghetto ones are the majority..sadly enough and date black guys. But, its better to go for QUALITY rather than QUANTITY right? if i was a male i would take a NON GHETTO black or mixed girl too.

Are you asking the women on here if they like Whiggers? lmao. Start you own post and ask the girls in AA forum who love White guys if they also like thug White guys.

Fyi, SadButTrue thinks You, AgentSmith and I are the same person. She calls me a man whenever she responds to my answers now. Which is crazy because you think I'm in love with White men and Agentsmith is the biggest jack@ss ever. Insulting.

did you honestly just say "oreo girls"? by all means elaborate on what you mean by that because you sound real ignorant. do you mean that all black girls that are NOT loud & wild & gettin preg every 5 seconds is an oreo? skin color surely does not define how a person should act. you need to open your eyes and see past the stereotypes that society has put on black people. & as far as "black-white girls" putting on an atitude in front black men? what in the world does that mean?

no such thing as a "whigger." tell me exactly what acting black means just so were on clese terms. people can act however they want too & skin color should have nothing to do with it. its skin, its an outer layer to protect you from the elements or whateve what does it have to do with the way you act? if a white person likes rap then by all means they should listen to it without taking heat for it. just like baggy jeans. maybe they like wearing baggy jeans thats just their personal style.
