I don't know how many of you have gotten to know Don and Norma Wall since they have come to live in our community....but I would encourage everyone to do so.

Don is head of the local Tea Party and he and Norma have poured themselves into helping our community.

We can't have enough people like them.

Are you unhappy with something in our community? if so, I encourage you to attend the Tea Party meetings and see how it is you can make a positive difference for our community.

As more meetings happen, I will be posting them on this site.

Everyone is busy, but if we do not care about our own community....who will?

HAHAHA, while this moronic crap still continues, there will be a coffee party starting up in Greensburg soon. It will be for the more progressive people of Decatur... the more intelligent, less backward and less bigoted. More details to come. You do NOT have to settle for the Tea Party nonsense. Even the Repubs themselves have said the GOP has to STOP BEING THE STUPID PARTY...The Tea Party contining onward is NOT THE WAY TO DO IT...

You show such a "civil" and "enlightening" stance with your statement.... you truly showed how you are as you stated more "progressive", "more intelligent" , "less backward" and "less bigoted" than all of the rest of us.

Totally agree Pigskinner!

If the Conservative base of the REpublican party had not stayed home the last time because the Republican party ran a moderate in the Presidential race it would have turned out much differently.

They have run a moderate the last two times and lost the race...how about running a Conservative candidate that is in touch with the conservative platform of the party and the conservative BASE?

The Tea Party is NOT their own party but they are the Conservatives.

It is a shame we cannot register to vote as Sean Hannity says he is able to do in New York,
they can register, Democrat, Republican or Conservative.

you sound like a real authority posting under your ficticious name and with no proof whatsoever to back up your claims.

I know the local Tea Party people and they are not KKK or anything close.

as a matter of fact I am a member and I am a Catholic and the KKK does not like us Catholics...

I agree with Jean, and I'm not a conservative.

On a national scale, the far right is selling a political product that the people aren't buying. I understand the comments that GOP moderates made about conservatives after the election.

Locally, those affiliated with the Tea Party aren't bad people. They aren't "KKK" and their patriotism isn't disguised.

Tea Party?! Sign me up!! I will start the first meeting by demonstrating the correct way to fold a tin-foil hat. Obama plans to enslave us with his drones that seed the clouds with sodium pentathol. I swear its true. We must protect ourselves from the Dark One. Glenn Beck told me so.

Cue the Lee Greenwood, Grover. We got trrrists and commies to round up.
