It's convenient to hide behind religion as a means of justifying this recent invasion children, adults and pregnant women pouring into our country, but at some point we have to use some plain common sense too. We have to acknowledge the reality of the world we're living in today, With a sluggish economy and limited resources, we are struggling to provide for our own citizens. In a perfect world, it would be nice if we could take care of all the poor and impoverished on the planet, but it's quite simply not possible. I don't think God would expect us to neglect our own to provide for others, yet that's exactly what we're doing. If someone leaves their own children at home without food to go next door and feed the neighbor's children, I think it would be equally as wrong in God's eyes! It's senseless and defies all logic. The money and resources being poured into this crisis means more being taken away from our own citizens in need. We will pay the price of this charity in higher taxes and more staggering debt. This recent invasion is a well orchestrated plan to overload the system in sheer numbers alone, which has worked out quite well for the previous invaders. This crisis is a direct consequence of refusing to enforce our immigration laws. The violence and corruption in these third world countries hasn't just started either, as we're led to believe. It's being used though as a talking point by politicians to create a diversion from their failure to do their jobs of securing our border and enforcing our laws. It's all smoke screens and mirrors! It will be quite interesting to see how long people will sit back and watch their quality of life all but diminish, as our elected officials and illegal supporters fall all over themselves to accommodate the masses at our expense! If this doesn't prompt a citizen uprising, then I don't know what will!

This has nothing to do with the govt giving anything. It said Catholic charities. Most ppl the South Americas are catholic. It only seems fitting that North American Catholics would help. A lot of Americans don't come into our parish and ask for help. In past 10 years we have seen a steady increase in Mexican families asking for assistance. I do know that Jesus would have help anyone who would help themselves and that's what expected of us. As followers of Christ( Catholics). I do agree the citizens of U.S. also need help but they don't want to work for it. Obama would rather hand it to them. That's less American than coming here unwanted. We must remember unless your names Sitting Bull or you are Indian. Once your ppl were immigrants. The answers not that simple.

Mexico could stop this from happening if they wanted to. Send them all back to Mexico and let it be their problem.

That's right, I'm not Catholic but have donated to Catholic charities but no longer will.I believe charity begins at home, I want my people (fellow citizens) receiving my donations .
And I don't want some religious fanatics telling me to feed the world. I don't buy into it.

Great ...now maybe Obamullah can use executive action to tax the shit out of non profit organizations to pick up all the costs we, the people pay foy... traitors, they will finally have cause to impeach this idiot once and for all. If any of these so called Church'S talked about Biblical teaching, they would try to teach these thugs some morals... But doubt it, they've always pretended to believe in order to rip off Church's for freebies.

Send them all to the Vatican if the Catholics are so concerned.

You should be happy that the Catholics charities are helping. If they didn't like others have said the American people would be paying. It's not like Obama would say no.

Really where that information Spud? Catholic charities has nothing to do with govt. Or it's lobbying but it's a great try. Check this out over 1.7 billion Catholics. With Central and South America being dominantly catholic it's only right that North American Catholics help. Not Your Tax Dollars!!!! You have got to read a little bit. You know your doing yourself an injustice by being so uneducated.

The article said HHS has 350 million $ to grant to caregivers. You don't think the Catholic charities are going to get any of that? If so then they are taking taxpayer money. That also makes them accomplices to this administration, that is trying so hard to distribute these people throughout the country and make them disappear. If your organization is truly this great international organization for the betterment of mankind, why don't you try to stop these people from making this insane trip? It's not like they're sneaking up here. They're being helped by you and the Mexican government by your lack of action. What if all the disadvantaged or abused Hindus, Muslims and Buddhists decided to come to America for relief? Would you help them? We are all equal in Gods eyes after all. Would the US be able to handle these all people? When does morality turn into a kind of stupidity that will destroy this country for everyone? What happens then?

Catholics take pride in being able to help others it's what we do. Catholics spend money all over the world. They help every walk of life. Even would help you. You say "we are all equal in Gods eyes". Yet you don't care about others. Hmmm.
Yes this is a problem. We can either sit sidelines like you and majority of others just complain about it or you can help. It's your free will.
I choose to be more upset with the mishandling of our own Americans. Allowing families to become dependent on the govt. and not better themselves for generations. We have gotten rid of blue collar jobs because of feeling entitled. These ppl could eventually be incredible work force if trained properly. Most Mexican immigrants are extremely hard workers.
I choose to eliminate problems instead of becoming the problem.

We were all immigrants in this country. Unless your Native American. Majority of ppl came to this great country to avoid there govt or poverty. It's easy to point fingers at the outspoken ones or the helpers of the world.

Your argument is emotional, lacking in common sense and economic knowledge. Let me give you an analogy. 50 people are on a sinking ship with one lifeboat. The lifeboat can accommodate 15 people. Emotional people will try to squeeze all 50 onto the lifeboat. Sensible people will put 15 in the boat. The boat with 50 in it will have everyone perish while the boat with 15 will be saved. The US can not be looked upon as the worlds lifeboat, as you seem to be doing. God doesn't expect people to do more than they are able to. God wants people to do all they can but not so much as to destroy themselves too.

Haha I don't need your analogies. Thanks anyways. So what happens in Spuds world when we stop helping and still have this influx of ppl? I don't agree with the children coming over to US. Since we can change that I move to next step. Where would you even begin to send them? They have nowhere. It's not rocket science. Since we won't build a fence and put active duty paying officers there. What's the solution?
