Oh and that sour taste can't stand it the powder that's left at bottom of it if you let it sit a while in the paper bag it'll definitely be sour

Asian pie thx. I put some of my dirt in the paper bag. I hope it gets crunchy so I can taste the difference. Right now the ones in the plastic bag are still moist. I just took a bite and it was creamy and sour. Ready to get a drier taste and not so moist.

Sit it outside for a hour while it's hot out with the bag open it'll dry fast the dirt will even look whiter when I get it sometimes it's off white like it's dirty but when heat hits it it gets whiter it'll taste great! And Thanks for the update. It's making me want some but I need to lay off for a while :-(

Hi, do the clay companies wash the kaolin before they bag it then? I was under the impression that they simply dug it up then bagged it without any form of processing?

Comments from others I would appreciate too. As I'm trying to source some chunks for kaolin lovers in the UK as well as Odowa that Mauvseller had - will let everyone know of my progress. Thanks

Sorry guys to hear that you got cheated no matter how great the person sounds or seems you can never be sure. @ CHALK LOVER.... I will be honest after the process of digging they send it through a process which is burning to rid parasites and such ... being that it's dirt and it's not really something your suppose to eat it's not going to be as clean as you want it's states on the bag not for human consumption so there for it's not cleaned for our standards of eating... hope this help

I am from Pakistan . Yeah the same gachni you are talking about. My mother in law is going back home for a month but I feel ashamed of asking her to get me some. I will try to go to Indian store and try to find it. Thanks for your reply ...:)

I've had family members who eat corn starch what does it taste like? And sucks that it's raining but just leaving the bag open in the house it'll still dry ;-)

Cornstarch taste dry and creamy.......it squeaks when u chew it! I use to add a little water and let it dry for a couple of days and it would be crunchy. Or I would put it in the freezer and let sit for a couple of days.....nice cold and creamy. Sometimes I would cut the box and let it be exposed to air. It would get very very dry. Last night I tried a piece of my dirt from the bag. I can taste the difference. I'm letting it sit for the rest of the week. Its drying out.......then I tried a piece I left in the plastic......moist and sour. The one in the bag is getting crunchy. I have to break my chunks into pieces to have more. I am really enjoying my white dirt.

Thanks for responding Asian pie. Have you ever tried 'Home grown Georgia white dirt'? Here is the link http://whitedirtga.com/
If you have, is it nice kaolin? This question is also for anyone else who has tried this company's clay. Feel free to answer

You've made me want some cornstarch now, lol.

I've done all of the same with cornstarch. It's so good. I used to crave it so bad, but I'm not 'addicted' to it anymore. Feels good that I can just enjoy it now and then - going to have some from the freezer when I get home.

I love the squeak; that's how I got back on it after being off it completely for months - touched a box at the supermarket and felt the squeak and that was it, had to have some. But luckily I didn't get addicted again.
