Hey cornstarch eater yes the dirt taste very good. I just sampled another piece and this one taste kinda sour it was still smooth and creamy. The bag smelled like fresh rain. I am very satisfied with this order. The sour taste was different but very delicious. No gritty taste like sand or anything.
Did they send you a good amount for what u paid?

As far as the earthy taste yes! Yet the sourness of the dirt made my mouth tingle. I got two pounds for 19.98. I haven't had any today gonna see if I can make it last. The big chunks I'm going to break up. So far all the pieces just melt in my mouth. It also taste like a good batch of dry mud......glad I ordered!

Wish I had some!

I see you say it's earthy, but also sour. I haven't had any clay that I would describe as sour - would love to try it.

Are the same pieces both earthy and sour, or some earthy and some sour? Is it mostly earthy do you think? I'm really looking to get some that mostly has an earthy taste.

I brought a piece of clay to work with me and I been biting pieces off all day. No desire for cornstarch as of yet. My mouth is so dry but I enjoy it. I also tried some dry oatmeal uncooked. I am hooked on dry textures. Looking for ideas for my clay. Does everyone just eat it right out the bag? I was thinking about putting a couple pieces in the freezer for a few days.

Did you put it in a sealed bag? Clay will tend to absorb the flavors of what is around it.

It's so quiet here lately.

I don't have any clay myself, so would love to read about those of you that are enjoying some clay or anything else.

I've been enjoying baked DE.

Hey All things clay I was saying the same thing. I've been enjoying my white dirt from www.whitedirt.com some pieces have been sour like tingling in my mouth and some have been very dry and earthy. I haven't had any today but I will eat a piece when I get home from work. I think I'm going to order from down home georgia white dirt so I can get at least a 1/2 case. I still have some powdered bentonite clay that I don't know what to do with. how r things going with u? Oh yeah no cornstarch in almost two weeks

Hi mzlibra, the dry earthy pieces sound so good..you've got my mouth watering!

I finished the last of my baked DE - I'll probably bake some more tomorrow. I've been having that lately, plus a bite of cornstarch here and there (I've been keeping the starch in the freezer). Oh, chalk too - plain old crayola. Nice and crunchy! I don't swallow it though.

Hello to all my dirt eaters I'm 22 and had a child recently and ate white dirt through pregnancy currently a month clean from eating it.... before the baby I ate it every blue moon but now it's a addition....I'm reading a lot of people who try to get that earthy taste well Maybe this can help being I've ate it for so long and so has my family we like our dirt pure... so here's some tips... when you buy it it never taste good to me because it's kinda wet I like mine crunchy and dry sometimes dry with a creamy texture anyway this works both ways... when you buy it comes in a plastic bag ask the clerk for paper dump it in the paper bag ....reason because dirt absorbs anything around it and will taste just like it.... the paper bag gives it a earthy taste and dries it out leave the bag open for a day and when you wake it'll taste Awesome putting it the in the sun is a quicker way too!!!:-)
