A woman was suburban Nashville is suing Dallas-based Southwest Airlines for $800,000, after she sustained second-degree burns from a cup of hot water that spilled onto her lap during a flight last December.

Were were the trays that snap into the armrest on first class front seats? All 727's had them, all 747's had them. Did Southwest just buy the cheapest seats? Probably. So don't bitch if you get sued and now have to pay.
How could the water have been THAT hot. Usually lukewarm water is all that comes out of those coffee makers. Hot water in the lavs? NEVER.
