Pretty lukewarm review, which is actually refreshing after the dozens and dozens of gushing and positive reviews about mediocre food in other LC restaurants. Sounds like it's geared toward kids in price and quality. I appreciate the honesty!

Someone with a name like Carlos Lopez, you would think, would know better than to make mistakes like "red chile Colorado" the word "colorado" refers to the color of the chile which was already mentioned when you called it red; no need to also call it "Colorado" which seems to imply that it came from the state of the same name. Placing a~ over the n in "chile relleno" is also a mistake as the "n" in this case has the regular pronounciation not the Spanish √Ī.

These complainers would bitch about losing 50 pounds of ugly fat if they ate free weight watchers meals.

There are 250 + OR - places to eat in LC.

Pick one. Stop complaining with your mouth full.

Or stay home. Cook and gag yourselves.

I went by earlier this week, excitedly knowing that they just opened, but I was saddened when they told me they didn't have any chorizo/potato/cheese burritos for breakfast, so I ended up having to give my business to Robert's. :(

Oh, Carlos is just annoyed that the Sun-News only paid for a $3 burrito this week, so that he couldn't put together any of the ridiculous adjective-packed phrases that usually characterize his writing.

He should have gone to the ...One Stop, I think it's called, over between Valley/Avenida de Mesilla and Valley/Brown.

Dear Language critic. Since you are a language critic, you probably know that the word you are after is "pronunciation".... "pronounciation" is not a word last I checked.
Second, I think you need to know that our dear friend Carlos is but a humble college student, innocently pecking away at his keyboard in hopes that one day, he will blossom into that world-class journalist he aspires to be. But alas, for now, young Carlos is forced to sing (or write) for his supper....daily risking irreparable damage to his sensitive palate while visiting every little roach hole in the Mesilla Valley. And why? Just so you and I can stay informed on the offerings of the innumerable fine dining establishments in the Las Cruces metropolitan area. So I say, kudos, young Carlos! Thanks for taking one for the culinary team! I for one am flattered by your selfless approach, unending candor, and creative approach to spelling and grammar.

I eat at this place all the time. Being in Law enforcement means we have to grab a bite whenever we can, often on the run. Usually my partner and I just grab an 8 piece bucket, but since we found this place it's one of our favorite. The crepes comes in both sweet and savory and they give very generous portions. I don't know what they put in their eggs, but they are so tasty that often I get a double serving. Also, they have a number of desserts to tempt your palette, including French Silk pie, Key Lime and the most gorgeous Baked Alaska that will keep you and your friends coming back again and again. Don't try the veal, though. That's the one dish they don't have a clue about.
