Honor Flight of Southern New Mexico heads off to Washington, D.C.
The Honor Flight of Southern New Mexico with 39 World War II and Korean War veterans from southern New Mexico will board a bus bound at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pan American Center north side parking lot for El Paso International Airport headed for Washington, D.C., with the help of more than 70 NMSU ROTC cadets in a traditional sendoff.
