Don't even ATTEMPT to rank burgers unless you've had the "Piggy Platter" at Two Morrows in Patchogue.

All American has been around since the my fater was a teenager in the 60's,probably even before that. Long Before any of these burger joints. That alone proves it is the best burger on long island.

Been there many times since the 60s and I still do NOT understand why everyone loves it. The burgers and fries are mediocre at best.

Just what Long Islanders need, a Piggy Platter. By all accounts they've had too many of those already.

I grew up in Massapequa in the 60's and ate at All American a lot. There are really much better burgers on LI but All American will always be one of my favorites by proxy. The best burgers I've had recently are at PeraBell in Patchogue, Teller's in Islip, and Tweed's buffalo burger in Riverhead. All are amazing! The bison burger at Tweed'd is really unbelievable. I place it in a different category than regular beef because it is really that good. I have had a lot of bison burgers and most are dry and bad, but Tweed's (which owns its own bison farm here on LI) is simply the best. Try it!

Reese's 1900 always had a great burger, though I haven't been there in a while.
The best? IMHO, Pine Grove Inn.
