these people are now giving themselves fake african names, and find it is impossible to argue that they havn't just stolen a lot of jewish symbols for their "ancient african festival" invented not long ago by a rapist jailbird.

yes, it IS a menorrah. they "stolded" it from the Jews.

No, it wasn't necessary stolen from the Jews. I mean, it's possible it is. But the basic idea of a candle-holder or lights-holder is found in several cultures. On my living room table I have Mom's divli, which is a metal stand in which they once burned cotton wicks in vegetable oil during a Hindu ceremony. A divli is basically the Hindu equivalent of a menorah and the festival of Divali, the most wonderful time of the year, resembles Hannukah.

The Catholic Church, the Greek Orthodox Church, also use candles. If Kwaanza is not your cup of tea, leave it alone. I'm not black or Jewish, but I love Kwaanza, Hannukah, Christmas. My favorite festival is when I get my tax refund!

do I think its stupid? yes... but who cares...
all religon and religous hoilidays are stupid.
