Come on, deniers, start screaming "alarmists are coming."

Regardless, more evidence is adding to the fact that the raging global warming is taking a toll on our planet.

This time, it's the Oxford University scientists reporting that a global temperature rise of 2.7 degrees Fahrenheit could thaw the ground over a large area of Siberia and would then release carbon from soil.

When the thawing of Siberia’s permafrost occurs, over 1,000 gigatons of the greenhouse gases carbon dioxide and methane are freed into the atmosphere, producing an even larger global warming reality.

litesong, good morning. Great reference material but both are the same link.

Also, for daily mean temperatures north of the northern 80th parallel 1958-2013.

Well it won't happen this year. Siberia has been very cold, so has China.

Even the US January 2013 was 39th warmest as compared to the 20th century average.

Australia had it's warmest January on record, breaking the 1932 by .11*C record. It's summer there so don't worry they didn't get first place by themselves, last July 2012 was the warmest for the US. So we're tied.

Besides, July 2012 in Australia was the 8th coolest for minimum temps and 25th warmest for max temps.

49 former NASA scientists and astronauts sent a letter to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden last week admonishing the agency for it’s role in advocating a high degree of certainty that man-made CO2 is a major cause of climate change while neglecting empirical evidence that calls the theory into question.
The group, which includes seven Apollo astronauts and two former directors of NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, are dismayed over the failure of NASA, and specifically the Goddard Institute For Space Studies (GISS), to make an objective assessment of all available scientific data on climate change. They charge that NASA is relying too heavily on complex climate models that have proven scientifically inadequate in predicting climate only one or two decades in advance.

“These American heroes – the astronauts that took to space and the scientists and engineers that put them there – are simply stating their concern over NASA’s extreme advocacy for an unproven theory,” said Leighton Steward.“There’s a concern that if it turns out that CO2 is not a major cause of climate change, NASA will have put the reputation of NASA, NASA’s current and former employees, and even the very reputation of science itself at risk of public ridicule and distrust.”

"phud fetid feces face fiend" using a discredited report, made by an oft discredited scientist, & some non-climate astros, shows that "phud fetid feces face fiend" has no science or mathematics degrees, & has a poorly earned hi skule DEE-plooomaa..... if it has that.
