I know what the experts are going to say, not extremely interested in that testimony. I've seen too many "experts" and know how easily that can be tailored to fit the situation. If you listen to Jodi's testimony, you'll already know exactly what they're going to say.

What does intrigue me is who is called in rebuttal. Is there a card up the State's sleeve? She's said a lot; there could be a lot said to disprove it now that it's been heard.

Goodmornng GD

I can just see you in my mind, still in bed (side position) cozy in the Cal King:) Still cold up your way, LA will be in the 80's.

Funny, none of our friends here, or hardly anyone I run into from out of town, wants to live in LA.

JA would have liked LA ... lol

Martinez is entering a mine field on rebuttal of the experts.
Even his Mental Health experts will have to admitt some factors
in favor of JA suffering abuse at the hands of TA ... then the jury asks more questions of the experts.

I can only imagine some of them, about why JA pretended to enjoy being tied up and sodomized. Stockhold Syndrome with a twist, pleasing her mental captor.

Dr Drew's shill Atty Guest, Mark Arglish?, even mentioned last evening that JM would alienate the jury if he mocks or downplays BWS. I said Mock, since even though he may parse his words playing nice, his style will still be offensive.

The defense should have hired a crime scene reconstructionist and an independent forensic pathologist to rebut Martinez' timeline and the ME's opinion about the sequence of the events.
Martinez contends that the defense's scenario doesn't add up because Jodi had a very short time to do all the things she said she did when she killed Travis; 62 seconds to be exact. But that is not the defense's theory, it is Martinez's theory, it is the time frame between the last picture of Travis alive and the picture where Jodi is seen standing over Travis' bloody body, Martinez alleges that Travis was already dead in that picture. Does he know, with a high degree certainty, that Travis was already dead? Where is the scientific evidence?
It is very possible the picture was taken immediately after Jodi shot Travis, could this be the proof that she shot him first as she has consistently claimed?
Most of the 62 seconds scenario will not hold much water in the deliberations, although the hardliners anti JA, will be marking up the the blackboard and going through rubics cubes machinations.

The final minutes, were Fog of War, notwithstanding Camera data...not even JA if she wanted to tell the truth could detail it precisely.

Did you catch a Dr Lloyd (guest Coroner) on Dr Drew, last night.
He unequevofaly stated that TA was stabbed first. He displayed a large knife, the type that would have been needed for the fatal first blow to the hardened chest cavity.

I hate to realize that juries are that shallow, but I know they can be. Martinez/Nurmi are simply doing a job, they didn't commit any crimes. To judge the guilt or innocence of a defendant on how much you like the attorney, who they remind you of, how they dress etc. is so simple minded...yet it happens.

I've already heard the expert testimony for this defense (they're all the same, and becoming more frequently used). In a society where no one accepts any responsibility, it's getting to be a trend; you can always find that one person or two who is a) impressed by degrees, and b) blames their own actions on everyone but themselves.

I'm more interested in the individuals called in rebuttal.

Experts, experts, every one of them has a theory - the jury will be instructed to use their common sense.

This retired forensic expert from the CA San Bernardino Sheriff's Dept, was merely gusessing as to the gun jamming. He was also personaly knew JA and TA. These forensics experts are technicians, not even detectives. The guest Coroner and one of the shill attorney guests, sht him down (mere conjecture)

The only credence that I do give his theory that JA had a gun on TA while he was in the shower, was in the photo of TA with that look of anger/schock on his face. Like what is this Biatch thinks she is doing, I am going to fck her up real good now.

He may not have used the tactic of trying to talk her down real nice, like many would do when facing the end of a gun barrel.

Of course all of this is premised on the scenario that it was less than a spontaneous self defense reaction. I still lean in favor of JA's story

Understand your point of view, get it ... that being said, which atty in this case is more appealing to a jury...granted you have not seen the jury.

This jury will more than likely hang, unless Manslaughter is an option on the table.

I saw his website :) This trial has so many facets. Even the Mormons are not safe. I'll bet they are glued to their tv. Can you imagine, how young people in their church are hearing all of the details? And, first time I ever heard of the Provo Push (Mormon Utah) term.
So true, the many facets of this trail. A glimpse into our stratified culture in the greatest country on earth. Us none Mormons, can only imagine how this has engulfed the Mormon community. What is their offical word from the pulpit and then the rumors mill are running wild. Even the jargon "Provo Push" which I have never heard, but most have heard about "Jack Mormons"

I was curious as to thier take on forgiveness, upon repentance. JA, regardless of those who feel she only joined because of TA, had the Book of Mormon practicaly memorized and appeared sincere (reverent) when questioned on it by Martinez.

JA wanted to be good, otherwise she would have postioned herslelf in the sinfull bowels of SF and LA. Same as to TA.

The holy world is powerfull, and I still enoy and need to hear it. Have only briefly scanned the Book of Mormon, but obviously entwined with the Old and New Testiment. I have met a dozen or so Mormons and saw something special (good) in all of them. Their tenants as to avoiding non martial sex, will certainly keep young people healthy and out of trouble. Same with our Catholic doctrines. In fact, I see so many similarites between the Mormon Chuch and the Catholic Church. They believe that their President, like are Pope, are infallable...their highest inner council, like the Curia...confess to the Mormon Bishops, confess to the Catholic Priests.

GD continued:

I like what I'm hearing about our new Pope, particualrly his humility. As the Cardinal in Buenos Aires, he spurned the Mansion and stayed in an Apartment. Interesting, before entering the seminary he had a degree in chemical engineering and loves science.

I'm still a Catholic in a sense, in my DNA, but a free thinker. Martin Luther, who broke with the Catholic church, was one of the more elightened and bravest man to have ever lived.

Good morning :)
The people at Sleep Number make an excellent bed :)It's beautiful this morning, baby blue skies w/fluffy clouds.
I can live anywhere my family is. I'm just glad they don't live where it's humid or ice cold.
LA: It has some great areas.
The outlying places are beautiful and some are almost "out of fantasy land" (untouched by the lowest common denominators of society). I love those areas. Feels good to see even old areas well cared for.
(LA, it's just the number of scarey neighborhoods to navigate around, the freeway congestion, and that you can't afford to get lost on the surface streets, that concern me. And, the hollywood crowd, Rodeo Dr., are just surreal.)
JA: I think she would've like any place her heart was. I think she would've been happy in PD, if they were married.
Interesting, to see men's perception of her.

Good Day, no offense meant toward LA Guy and his opinion, but his perception isn't that of "men" - just him as a man. I've not spoken with any other men who don't think she's deceptive and are to different degrees disgusting as a human in general.

I think I'm going to look at the autopsy pictures before proceedings begin today.

I'm thinking more of an initial pre-tragedy image. A lot of them saying they would've found her attractive and dated her. Abe comes to mind. I just think it's interesting to hear their take on things.
