Time for Martinwz to sit down. Now theorizing about sun in her face when she was driving and more about gas in her car.

This entire gasoline subject matter, is a footnote, for the dust bin. The jury must be bored with it.

You don't really believe a trial is just a search for the truth, do you? What is your profession?
You have no doubt heard that phraseology in final arguements and jury instructions.

Hey, you know what you two could do - register on Topix and then you can email each other without giving out info on the net. Or one of you can and the other can email them personal info.
Good luck!
One of those options is what I had planned to do. I value GD's friendship, it just happen that way. She then can obtain an alternate e-mail for her privacy. I will go first. GD may have even sensed this, she is very astute and genuine.

Hello again GD:)

laughable, the jury wrapping their heads around 62 seconds .. somethinbg akin to understanding the speed of light ... they will pass this nonsense by forthwith even if it is briefly broached in deliberations
FYI - I have been in my share of fights as a kid and as former cop, stabbed and in one OIS (shooting), time stands still .. some who are shot or stabbed do not even feel it immediately .. what one does feel right away is a blow to the head with a blunt object (nightstick, sap, pool cue, well you get my point)
Were you an LA cop?

Yes. But I've also logged thousands of hours in a courtroom.

So you have a pretty good idea how this works then. I'm not as familiar but learning as I go. Let me ask you, in your opinion with where are at right now, what do you think might be the outcome of this...

By common sense and with no bias, I think she'd be convicted of first, no death penalty. There's absolutely no way to tell what a jury will do and it only takes one person who believes she's a victim to start this all over. I've been surprised. Out of 12 people on here who believe she should get that conviction, there is one that would throw it, so...

And a hung jury means I'll have to hear her use the non-word "de-edify" 50 times again in expressing her great concern for Alexander's wellbeing lol.

She's different, for sure, and I haven't seen anything like it either (court reporter, 2 kids attorneys, one kid cop, husband cop - not too sheltered either). I'm too much like Rose, I'm afraid. Her butchering of grammar, making up words and using her "big" words out of context makes me grind my teeth :)(And I can't believe I just used the word "butcher").

No. Jodi attempted to represent herself in a death penalty case. Nurmi tries his best to rein her in and she just keeps ignoring him and talking. Jodi just believes too strongly in her intelligence for her own good, and thinks if she can impress the jury with words (whether used correctly or not, or if they even exist), she'll outsmart them, too.
