I find it interesting that one letter writer is against the WHEE festival, but supports and whose family has financially benefited from Sheriff Parker, who obviously does not care about the welfare of the children of Tehama County.

One of the women who spoke out against the WHEE fest, would probably rather the WHEE fest be a PILL fest. She also doesn't seem to care about children, as she supported one official who was accused of having sex with a developmentally disabled 18 year-old, that was swept under the table by law enforcement and city council.

These are the people who will determine the moral course of Tehama County when it comes to medical marijuana. No wonder it's such a meww.

Actually it's h e m p and it barely(as far as active ingredient goes) resembles todays Marijuana. Hemp is a very useful multifunctional plant. Smoking hemp will produce nary a buzz. The "Medical" marijuana people can tell you ,this ain't your granpa"s Pot.
Hemp has gotten a bad rap for that reason.
Us "cow people" know a few good uses for hemp.It makes great rope.

Hope WHEE goes off w/ no problems. Up here in Seattle, our Hempfest is the largest in the country. Hard work and cooperation w/ law enforcement has given us a great festival that grows year after year. The police are very supportive and well taken care of by Hempfest staff. This could be the start of a great tradition in Red Bluff...great music, food, crafts, education, etc. And w/ alcohol banned, no tough guy issues:)

today the board gave the power to planning to approve WWW.WHEE2010.com event as long as it is compliant with new code the festival will happen everyone involved wants to have fun not create a problem. If necessary Sunday will become a freedom of speech day and the people will exercise constitutional rights. This is about a prayer circle its about praying to end drug war not start one.
George Robson is Planning Director to the Good ole' boys. He loves to selectively enforce laws. He's as bad and corrupt as Parker. They are in each others pocket. They own each other. Robson must do as Parker and Cohen dictate. They have too much on each other. If given the choice, Robson will shut this down!

Organizers of WHEE need to get a reality check about who and what they're up against. These are not nice or fair people. They do not care about following rules or being honest.Robson and Parker don't care about your civil rights or freedom of speech. They care about their good ole' boy supporters and what they want...and they don't want this festival. Get real and get ready for a real fight or you will lose! May as well get a lawyer on retainer to start with.

If I'm wrong, I'll eat my words after the festival.

Bingo! You said it right there, "good ole' boy supporters"

Been that way since 1849 and them boys still be controlling the puppet strings.

Maybe some day Lyle Williams will write a book and release it after he dies. It may not be a best seller but it will certainly knock the dust off a few shelves.

Yeah, but of all places why here? What makes Red Bluff such a special place?
I can guess, and I don't think it's the view, but I want to hear it from those who know.

advocating for a healthy society
where we promote natural alternatives
in a place were we legally grow medical cannabis seems like a no brain-er.
but it is a hope of WHEE2010 thru education, truth and self respect we can pray to end drug war.
no one wants a problem if this will directly affect you negatively please contact www.whee2010.com so our staff can address your concerns.

Great place to Round up the Pot Heads and Illegals. I understand that ICE, Federal Marshals, CHP, Local Police, State police, and over 8 Allied Law Agencies will be ready to Round them up, even HLS will be here. District Attorney Cohen and Law Officer's like Parker will have a field day. Lot of money for the city, County, and state, Average fine will be over $500.00 * & Court cost. This will be a day to remember, and also remind us who we will vote for or against. the jails will be full !
