Afghanistan is a country no body in uniform can help. They are a mix of about 20 to 30 different tribes all having papers saying "I have the right to rebel if I don't have my way". So how do you unite that many tribes? You went there for nothing, the animals will be back fighting each other before you even retire from the military.
Its the US idea why we went there, and we didn't go there to restore peace, we went there to kill the Taliban and to capture one idiot i.e. Osama Bin Lada. Don't mistake me, I hate terrorism but also support terrorism if it is used like in our country's situation i.e. freeing the Anishnawbec from their concentration camps. They are in concentration because they can't do nothing not even support themselves.
Finally, you still have legs because you were in a position where the i.e.d.s are hard to step on.
There is a guy in Thunder Bay, Ontario without legs, he was over there too and he was not lucky.
