Well, today's Sunday 6-14, AMERICAN FLAG DAY,crying shame everyday is not flag day, look around you'll see American Flags flying in front of Carl's Burgers, Taco Bell, Taco Lita, used car lots etc. but none in front of Banks , Credit Unions or mortage companies. I drove down a long residential block in Arcadia today and saw 3 flags flying, in each driveway there was a American made car, in all the other driveways there were $80,000.00 black Benz's.
Hope photographer Durflinger will have photos of the front of SGVN building Monday.

Gina,
Your one of the lucky one's, 99% of the people enjoying the American way of life can't figure out why even fly the flag.
Just 'Google" American flag, that will answer your question

I'm I recalling correctly that at one time in history the San Gabriel Valley Tribune newspapers had a small American Flag in the right corner of the front page?.
Is our Flag image a victim of "cost cutting" or nobody cares?, maybe that's why my Arco gas station removed the SGVN news rack and replaced it with Asian newspapers.

The flag's still there. Top right of the front page, right next to the word, "Tribune," seven days a week.

The only respectable way to dispose of a flag is to destroy it completely, so that nothing recognizable is left to lie in a trash heap or be used as a rag.

Mr. Actually,
I stand corrected, you are right, I subscribe to the Pasadena Star News, thought they came from the same press, but obviously the PSN isn't part of the USA.
Time to cancel after 30 years and there's not enough news print for our bird cage.
