Apparent murder-suicide in Great Barrington

A North Plain Road man apparently shot and killed his son yesterday, then called 911 to report a "tragedy" before then turning the gun on himself, authorities said.

Happymommy I believe you should have made that comment to Kent Brockman who said that people that live in boarding homes are unstable etc. Josh was defending the two men that he knew.

i personally knew both of them. the son i wouldnt give u 2 cents for but there was no reason for him to die. the father was a wonderful man and never had a harsh word for anyone. there had to be a reason y Bob did what he did. neither one of them were ever right after the passing of there mother/wife. so dont judge until u know all of the facts. it is a tragedy ..

For those that are talking trash, be aware that there are children involved in this that do not understand why this happened and it is very difficult for family members. No one will probably know what really happened. My sincere condolences to the family during this difficult time.
