Of course, if Hezbollah wanted to insure the peace and safety of the citizens of Southern Lebanon, there is another (obvious) tactic they could try that doesn't involve threatening to shoot rockets at innocent civilians.

The "Kosher Nostra" protection racket starts when an Orthodox Rabbi approaches a company to warn the owners that unless their product is certified as kosher, or "fit for a Jew to eat", they will face a boycott by every Jew in America. Most, if not all of the food companies, succumb to the blackmail because of fear of the Jewish dominated media and a boycott that may eventually culminate in bankruptcy. Also, the food companies know that the cost can be passed on to the consumer anyway. The food companies have kept secret from the general consumer the meaning of the (U) and the amount of money they have to pay the Jewish Rabbis.

I was tempted to label you an impulsive liar, but you might just be too big of an idiot to be responsible for your actions. A few points:
1. Plenty of food companies aren't kosher: e.g. Tyson, Oscar Mayer, etc.
2. Ever try to buy kosher pork or shellfish?
3. Very little fast food is kosher.
4. Not every single Jew would join in such "boycott."
5. OU is Orthodox Union. The vast majority of American Jews are not Orthodox.
6. Even among the Orthodox, OU is just one group that does kosher certification. There are many others such as OK, CRC, etc. OU doesn't have a monopoly on kosher certification, let alone all Jews.
7. Plenty of non-Jews value kosher food.
8. It's a market economy. If you don't want kosher food, don't buy it.
9. If you want government to restrict free consumer access to certain foods, feel free to move to one of the authoritarian countries that does so.
