What are the laws concerning Using a sports car and its trademark in a music video.

i.e if the car manufacturer's trademark is clearly visible on the car.

Alternatively what about if the manufacturers logo is not present or obscured so it is not discernible?

Can the vehicle design itself act as a trademark and be protect-able by law?
