Similar font, trademark infringement?

I have a blog where I use the motto "Detroit News for all". I sell no products and have no paid advertising on my site.

On my website I used a font which is similar to the trademark of a local paper called "The Detroit News".

This paper just filed a complaint against my web host for trademark infringement.

Does this complaint have any legitimacy?

Answer: I don't have to read the complaint for trademark infringement you received from The Detroit News to know what happened. The Detroit News did not send you the complaint because you used a similar font to theirs, they sent you the complaint because you used a name that is too similar to theirs "Detroit News for all", which constitutes trademark infringement. The name of your blog is the same except you added "for all" at the end and this is considered confusing similarity.

By the way, it doesn't matter if you don't sell products and have no paid advertising on the site.
