Maybe we should come up with a new name for her... Octoleech? Benefitsucker? Octomoron? Those 14 kids need to be taken away from her so they can have a chance at a decent life. They are just pawns for her ego right now and everyday they are in her custody will take them down a negative road.

Someone else came up with that label and this women has no right to trade mark it. Maybe she should try OCTOHO.

The public came up with the name octomom didn't they. Octonut would be a good name for her. She really needs a shrink big time and these 14 kids NEED to be taken away from her before she destroys the little ones' lives. She's already on her way to destroying the lives of the 6. If she does get that trademark NOBODY buy anything. She's looking for a way to feed her insatiable thirst for love and stroke her damaged self-esteem. I hope Orange County DCFS keeps a very close eye on this nut.

I hate to say but maybe she should wait until the kids are a little older before declaring herself official octomom. No telling if they will all live. They are still very small and fragile.

she can only trademark it for the selling of products, that doesnt prevent anyone from refering to her as octomom or mentally deficient psychopath or whatever.
but then, what company is going to buy a license from her for a product that no one would ever buy? I dont think octomom contraceptives would sell, or octomom chastity belts, or even octomom car seats.
