Birth control should not only be available, it should be progressively mandatory.

An employer has no right to force their religious beliefs on their workers.

If this company's 13,000 employees are of the same faith, the employer would not even have to consider it an issue, because they would all be of the same mindset.

You can not discriminate an employee based on race, creed, sex, or religious orientation / that is the law in all states!

An employees right to birth control is a personal choice / this bogus complaint won't stand in court.

Damn straight. If the employee wants to buy birth control or have breast implants or a tummy tuck, they can do it. It's none of the company's business.

You are right about this.
Just so, if a person wants a health insurance policy that does not cover these benefits, it's not the business of the Federal Government to insist they must buy one.

There already exists a religious exemption for churches under the ACA.

This is a slippery slope as to which drugs a company may use under religious exemptions. Case in point, Hobby Lobby currently allows their male employees access to Viagra, and only specific birth control, but they are arguing for exemptions to IUD's and Morning After pills. Who's to say an employer may fight to exclude themselves from other medications as well should the SCOTUS decide in their favor?

A 1990 decision regarding an American Indian claiming religious exemption to use Peyote because of his beliefs were thrown out by Scalia, stating "when the law is shown to be applied evenly, religious freedom can not be taken into consideration" indicating a concern that the floodgates for litigation would inevitably be the outcome.
This company is using the Citizens United ruling, which states that corporations are in fact people, which we all know is not the case.

Your argument that the government should not make it ones business to buy certain coverage is not entirely valid. Over 50% of women use birth control pills for non reproductive purposes, and 98% of all Catholic women surveyed have also stated they have in fact used birth control at one point in their lives. Mandating an individual has basic choices is in fact government working FOR the people, not against them. To interpret this as government intrusion is a long shot, but we differ in our views.
