Hey, the wealthy had 8 years to ride on the backs of the middle class and poor and run this country into the ground; it’s time for them to pay their fair share and help bring this nation back to prosperity.

Yes Pat, we need fewer rich people, and more poor people. Poor people do a lot, they pay lots of taxes, and consume very few resources, they are truly the only thing we can count on to get us out of this rut.

I'm off to my job, I hope my poor person boss is in a good mood today.

Oh man, more idiocy from the democrats who have no idea how this nation works...

You don't keep HIKING taxes...you SLASH taxes across the board.

but they can't bring themselves to STOP SPENDING.

They're like a bunck of crack wh*res who can't stop...so they keep bleeding EVERYONE to feed their habit.

Going to run this nation into the ground...

2010 can't get here enough...

STILL think we need a constitutional amendment gutting the federal government's powers to levy ANY income tax at all, and return the rights back to the states.

I support the House version that passed, a surtax of 5.4 percent on income above $500,000 for individuals and $1 million for couples.

That would be nice, except many executives have a small payroll and a big compensation package.

It doesnt matter to you that tax cuts is what started this problem ? You dont cut taxes at war time and you dont cut taxzes where the top 1% recieve the bulk of the cut. Not tomention running two wars off budget for 6 years. Now you want to cry you want more tax cuts .

Yooooooo, even Eleanor CLIFT is advocating a CUT IN PAYROLL TAXES, and she's a DEMOCRAT.

27 million people on the edge of destitution.

Imagine Illinois, Pennsylvania and Oregon, all at the same time, unemployed, under employed, forced part time...etc.

That's what 27 million Americans looks like. Illinois, Pennsylvania and Oregon, all at the same time. Larger than the population is 49 OF OUR 50 STATES.

Look at the legislative agenda:

HC Reform, Can N Trade, Dodd's bank reform...

Now, does a SINGLE THING on that list look like an economic jump start? A jobs growth bill?

The democrats have NOTHING ON THE SLATE to get jobs going again. NOTHING.

27 million people on the edge of destitution. Michigan just went WAY over 15% unemployed.

LIBERAL Herbert wrote a column called "Does Obama Get It?" where be basically said Obama seems clueless to the REAL pain in the nation. And no plan to deal with it.
The big question on the domestic front right now is whether President Obama understands the gravity of the employment crisis facing the country. Does he get it? The signals coming out of the White House have not been encouraging.
He wrote ANOTHER piece on Monday where he AGAIN questioned Obama's priorities called "A Word, Mr. President?"
We have spent the better part of a year locked in a tedious and unenlightening debate over health care while the jobless rate has steadily surged. It’s now at 10.2 percent. Families struggling with job losses, home foreclosures and personal bankruptcies are falling out of the middle class like fruit through the bottom of a rotten basket. The jobless rate for men 16 years old and over is 11.4 percent. For blacks, it’s a back-breaking 15.7 percent.

We need to readjust our focus. We’re worried about Kabul when Detroit has gone down for the count.
Eleanor Clift wrote a piece called "Dems should focus on the economy" where she points out the "tone deaf" democrats and essentially says WTF? about Obama not paying attention to the message.
Sometimes I think the Democrats have a death wish. For Harry Reid to ruminate about putting off health-care reform until next year is to give the Teabaggers even more time to stir up populist outrage about an out-of-touch Congress. With every poll showing that the No. 1 concern among voters is the weak job picture, the White House seems unresponsive.

……..But to conclude that Democrats have no worries is "denial on steroids," says Bill Galston, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and a veteran of the Clinton White House. However worthy and necessary the Obama priorities of health-care reform and climate-change legislation are, exit polls on Tuesday show the economy and jobs are the top priority for voters.
27 million people on the edge of destitution.

HC reform, Cap N Trade, Bank Reform.

Does ANY of that look like the democrats actually CARE that you're out there struggling to stay 1/2 a step ahead of homeless? Struggling just to feed your kids?

Seriously. Look at that legislative agenda.

Doesn't it look like Obama and the democrats PLAN to keep you DESPERATE for quite a long time?

STILL think Obama and the democrats know what they're doing?

Take a cold hard look at them right now.

You're witnessing the abject failure of the democrats all across the board. Mindless rabid dogs chasing their agenda, no matter what you say, or how bad you're hurting out here.

Australia is ALREADY ADDING JOBS.. know how they did it?

TAX CUTS. Slashed RE taxes by 50%. Scaling back the payroll tax.

Yep...even eleanor Clift is advocating SOME kind of TAX CUT to help people, and get the jobs moving again.

And there is idiot Obama and the democrats, mindless rabid dogs, chasing a stupid agenda not a single poll in america says is a top priority.

Not a single poll ever has.

Still think Obama and the democrats care about you?

clueless, mindless, comletely out of touch with the ENTIRE NATION.

58% of EVERYONE now believes the next president will be a republican.

Yep, Rasmusen. 60% of INDEPENDENTS say that, 52% of WOMEN say it, and only 31% of democrats think it will be a democrat.

Not even your OWN PARTY thinks the dems will hold the WH.

If the election were today? Obama would only get 45% support, 49% WOULD OPPOSE. Yep. Independents would OPPOSE him by a 2 TO 1 MARGIN.

And get this, the poll didn't even NAME a challenger. Yep, Obama can't even beat "no name cited" in a poll.

People would SEPCIFICALLY vote AGAINST Obama. He would lose, just because he is OBAMA.

That's some pretty stiff ugly facts out there for you democrats.

People may like him PERSONALLY, but like Clinton, they think his policies suck.

Just like people went to the polls in 2008 to vote against Bush who wasn't on the ballot, what do you think they're gonna do in 2010 when Obama isn't on the ballot?

This nation is angry, and has good reason to be.

The democrats have no plan to put this nation on the road to recovery, and it shows.

As more and more of the media starts to question how out of touch and clueless Obama is, the "curtain" is gonna close on the show for Obama.

It's already starting....

You missed the point. We are at WAR and have been for almost a decade and health insurance has been increasing astronomically, for not GOOD reason. Meanwhile, Republicans have been cutting taxes. It's a recipe for turning our country into a Banana Republic, like most of the rest of the world. Look at the BIG PICTURE. We have to spend MORE because our dollars today are WORTH LESS, soon to be WORTHLESS. ONLY the super rich with have anything, people who have a net worth of $50 million or more.

Getta a clue lady, we wonder if you make statements that foolish why oh why did the Marines ever consider you for inclusion in their ranks?? "Fair share, and Ride on the backs of the poor". Right out of the Jesse Jackson playbook of news media quotes. Nice going Pat you proved again, no original thought in what you said.
