Explain why similar legislation should not be passed to cover auto, fire, and life insurance.
Explain why this whole issue could not be decided by individual states like Hawaii.
Are they broken like Health insurance?

It doesn't matter what Obama, Pelosi and their far left Democrats do on health care or other issues. If they don't start creating jobs, and quickly, most of them will be voted out of office. Sadly, they are intent on destroying the American way of life on their way out the door. People first want a decent paying job. Unemployment and the deep suffering it causes is ruining this country, it has people on edge, and all the House Democrats can do is rejoice in legislation that passed by a few votes. Why don't they put as much effort into creating private sector jobs? Most of the stimulus money has gone to retaining public sector jobs. People first need a job for their self esteem and to know they are helping take care of their family and knowing there is a future to plan for. Obama has his priorities backwards. Is this what the Independents who got him elected really expected? I seriously doubt it.

I am not rich, by any means and close to Medicare benefits. Will they still be there? How much will it cost me as a semi-retired, single person on a fixed income to get health care? This is scary and I don't see how it can work. I don't understand this way of thinking.
You can't understand it with all the feel good advertising that we are bombarded with from all directions all the time. I'd say we were sold out as the least severe way of putting it. And, this didn't just sneak up on us, but is the result of 40+ years of "none dare call it conspiracy". We've gone from producing half the worlds physical product in 1945 to producing very little today - you can probably count on your fingers and toes the number of high tech manufacturing companies left. So now, instead of addressing the failed economic policies that have bankrupted us, these same droogs are pushing for a health care reform to bring us into line with our post utopia cultural and economic realities.

Oh, by the way, Nov 7th is the day the Soviets celebrated yearly the October, 1917, Bolshevic Revolution.

What do you think it will mean when you cover another 15-30 million without building any new health care infrastructure? I think you will get an LA freeway situation that comes with adding millions of cars with very little freeway additions. So, why don't they use the estimated 1.3 trillion over 10 years to build health care infrastructure. Combine that with alot of other things that are being talked about and viola - you've solved your health care predicament through simple supply and demand.

It's fun watching the democrats slit their political throats. It will be fun watching the Senate democrats figure out how to appease the left and avoid a vote this session.
Remember, the house bill will become null and void at the end of the Congressional session if the Senate does not pass a bill.
Then I guess I'll be looking for you in the upcoming civil war. You just might have something I need,'cause if folks have no hope for a future, then there really is nothing left to lose going "postal". You know?

San Francisco voters may erect a Statue commemorating Pelosi's defeat of the American family. She is every bit as demonic and destructive as today's Calif. version of Democrats hoped she would be.

Let's just see our kids over come what Pelosi is doing to their future. Fat chance of the cowards who vote Democratic in our State coming to the aid of our children.

I am amazed by the unbelievable arrogance of power displayed by our elected officials. They continue to pass legislation that is obviously not wanted by the vast majority of Americans, simply because such legislation fits within their personal ideological beliefs. In doing so, they are imposing immense costs on all of us. Any money, every dime spent by the government comes out of your pocket and mine in one form or another. It's not just a matter of taxation. If some company has extra costs imposed on it by the government, or by some union, the price of it's services rises accordingly. Either way, the cost comes out of your pocket and mine.
