I wish d-u-m-b-a-s-s-e-s like WTF would get their information strait before commenting. Generic forms of a prescription drug has the exact same active ingredients as it's generic form. The only difference is the non active binders and fillers in the drug. SO it makes no difference. Top drug makers make billions in profit by charging $5 to $10 a pill. You can get the same stuff for two thirds less in generic form.

It's the same for generic brands of food. In most cases it's the same food from a major manufacturer. All the Rich Food generic canned vegetables are manufactured by Del Monte. Same with Americas Choice.

Sure go on and give the head cases the most expensive drugs on the market after all it's just us taxpayers paying for them.

Governor Kaine's amendment is not just a way to save taxes, it will also save lives. The most expensive anti-psychotics such as Zyprexa, also happen to be the most medically dangerous ones and cause diabetes and heart problems and even early death. It may not have been his intent, but by putting psychiatric drugs (not behavioral health, what is that?) into the formulary, he will save lives of people with psychiatric illness. Other states are suing the makers of Zyprexa over off label marketing and side effect and winning by the way, when will Virginia's AG join the lawsuits on behalf of Virginia's citizens and taxpayers. NAMI who opposes this amendment takes drug company money, follow the donations.

I've been on Effexor from http://goo.gl/wW5CNU only one week but am cautiously very optimistic. Prior to this I was on citalopram but still feeling very low and sleeping poorly, feeling like I needed to be in bed 12-16 hours a day. Now I am waking naturally after only 8 hours sleep and finding it much easier to concentrate at work. I can hardly believe it is working so quickly but I feel so much better. I've had no side effects.
