Up until now most teenage depression was never treated which was very alarming considering that up to 8 percent of the teen population is affected by depression. A big part of the problem can be traced back to the fact that back in June of 2003, the FDA issued a recommendation that paroxetine which is the generic name for Paxil not be used to treat children or adolescents with depression. Considering how damaging depression is especially on a young life the fact that Lexapro can now be used successfully is a major advancement in the battle against depression. never use antidepressants on kids!

however if you are adult and you keen to save on lexapro - its worth switching to generic escitalopram.

i recently purchased it here and it works for me very well

I've been on Effexor from only one week but am cautiously very optimistic. Prior to this I was on citalopram but still feeling very low and sleeping poorly, feeling like I needed to be in bed 12-16 hours a day. Now I am waking naturally after only 8 hours sleep and finding it much easier to concentrate at work. I can hardly believe it is working so quickly but I feel so much better. I've had no side effects.
