Face it, your cuisine consists of grease and sugar. Compare that to the delicious food of Mexico, France, India, China, Japan, Ethiopia, Italy, etc... lol... how pathetic you are.
If not for Julia Child there would scarcely be anything edible in the entire USA!
Do tell, how do you like your horsemeat prepared, Julia Child?

if its such a great thing why doesnt obama and his wife and kids use it. or the jerks who voted for it
Because...

Obama has Stated, "Amnesty for illegal forgives their act of illegal immigration."

Obama words, implicitly encourages more illegal immigration as a result...

The Civil Rights act of 1965 bought and paid for a new style of government assisted welfare slavery... at your and the taxpayers expense.

Healthcare Reform will buy and pay for low or no income illegals into a new style of government assisted Healthcare slavery... At your and the taxpayers expense....

Under Pelosi's bill, if you feel you don't need health insurance like many in their 20's you will either pay the fine or go to jail! Here's an example, my father who is now 67 is in great health. Other than a routine physical every few years, he hasn't needed to see a doctor for the past 40 years. If he had just put $100 a month into a healthcare savings account instead of paying a monthly insurance premium, he'd have $50k in the account not including interest by now. So he'd be looking at a net gain of nearly 1/2 million dollars. Is he an exception to the rule? Probably not. Healthcare savings accounts would be better for us all.
Even better should a person, upon their death, being able to pass what they had in that account to their children/etc.

Younger people are going to get hard or many will be facing jail time. Should the bill pass the final vote, it's going to be a rude awakening when they realize they unwittingly ushered in what could cut into their earning/their way of life (that fine) or lead them to face jail time. And if they don't have the extra funds to pay the fine, good luck to them. Or having to pay out the nose to retain an atty to keep them out of jail. The attys profitting as well and they being a major finacial backer of those who are pushing the bill through.

I'm sure you mean well, but you really do not see the long run affects. You summaries are not correct. You are merely parroting the liberal talking points.

Death panels no, but it is sensible to forecast that medical care will be available based on an evaluation of health and age.

One provider system - businesses will be coerced by market conditions. If government offers employees an option to take healthcare off their books, everyone will eventually go that way. The politicians know this and so they offer it as a choice with the intent of long-term conversion to a gov. system.

USA currently provides the best health care in the world over those countries that are on gov. plans. No rational analysis leads one to believe the proposed plan will increase or even maintain healthcare quality. The expected outcome would be parallel to the decline experienced by other countries that have implemented gov. healthcare.

The plan is to pay for the plan by generating savings in medicare by eliminating fraud and improving efficiencies. If that were so practical, why has it not been done prior? Who is resisting it? Medicare will be redefined.

Most people realize that government has a history for missing projected expense budget nearly 100% of the time. Typically expenses are often multiples of the original projections. Being that the media reports this legislation to affect 1/6 of the US economy, it is not only reasonable but foreseeable that the healthcare expenses will devistate our economy and the strength of the dollar.

the only problem you have is that obama did not write the legislation, has not read the legislation and has already distanced himself from whats in the bill .
he is going to sign it because of the title nothing more .
I really wish that the liberals would make up their shared mind , one minute its not obamas bill the next its all obamas bill .
next time its your turn to use the brain that is shared by all libs , maybe you could ask the oracle exactly who's bill this is ok ?
some posts/comments don't deserve a reply because topix reprints the usually stupid remark again which makes you appear twice as stupid.
As for who's bill is it well it's not a single obstructionist repugnicants bill. It's a bill to try and help fellow Americans, something the GOP has forgotten how to do.

Yet, since the "New Deal" days of FDR society has shifted it's focus from Church/Lady Societies/Village-Town Charities (aka local) to Gov't responsibility for those struggling. When you lose the "local" part of things, you lose the accountablity of where your gift baskets go. So then we throw in generations of people who do NOT graduate from High School. Do NOT pursue College. Do NOT take the consequences of their own actions. So it is up to 'Big Brother' to tend/care for/ bail out....
Dang, BBQ??? I should have done that. It was a gorgeous day here in Michigan. I love cole slaw.

Many Americans are living paycheck to paycheck due to poor money management. It's a fact that Americans tend to live above their means as well. Buying things we want but don't necessarily need. For instance, during the whole clunker ordeal, many went out and purchased cars knowing they were on a limited budget. The solution is simple. The rich should stop being greedy, the middle class should cut back on their wants and the poor (the one's who are abusing the system) need to pick up their slack, so no one else has too. If each class was being responsible, this wouldn't be an issue. But once a class become irresponsible, everything is thrown outta whack. And like I said, the rich has been stealing for some time now. Anyone who pay taxes should not be struggling in this country. Either we are living above our means or our money is being abused somehow.

Our Government can reform the health care crisis without a public option. And without taking away the freedom, liberty and choices of the American people. There will be a rally in Washington DC on Saturday Nov. 21st.If you want to keep the freedoms we have fought so hard for, be there.

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Cancer

You've got high hopes about someone or something today, and you're confident that everything will turn out well. If a positive attitude is a guarantee of a positive outcome then you have nothing to worry about. But is it? There's a chance that you're being far too optimistic, and confusing fantasy with fact. If so, you'll be in for a big disappointment.
