Actually, it's best that they did this now. By doing this now, the Democrats have effectively cut their own throats in the 2010 election, meaning that Obama will be much less powerful should he make it to year 3 and year 4 of his Presidency. The fact that it only passed by 2 votes in the house shows that it is on anything but stable ground, and the swell of rage that the American people will have over this overstepping of responsibility will have great impact on the Senate. They like to be lifelong politicians and are much less likely to fall on the sword for a one term wonder like the foolish representatives did. If they had waiting until Year 3, after the midterm elections, like many Dems wanted to, then they could have passed this and then held the country ransom to reelect Obama...under the catch phrase of "Do you want Republicans to broker your healthcare". Now they won't be able to do that, but they will have to start the tax increases now, much to the chagrine of the already strapped tax base. it will hurt the taxpayer now, infuriate the Gray Panthers, and make a lot of crooked politicians rich in the short term (The same guys who buy $300 toilet seats are now negtoiating your meds...feel good yet?), but in the long term it will bring about what this country really needs right now... Change. The Mexicans coming to replace you appreciate your naivete. You are making tremendous sacrifice to allow their smooth transition. But for now, you guys need to start thinking about finding a doctor that is willing to take you...hint, there won't be many, so schedule early...and stay away from the emergency room from now on, you are no longer welcome LOL Black and Proud yet? LOL

Is the House healthcare reform bill unconstitutional? The legal argument against health care reform The challenge is founded upon the argument that healthcare is not a right enshrined by the Constitution, and that by mandating health insurance for every American, Congress is overstepping the authority granted to it by the Constitution. For one, they say, the commerce clause – which gives Congress powers to regulate commerce among states –does not give Congress the authority to regulate healthcare, which is about well-being..... http://features.csmonitor.com/politics/2009/1...

There are going to be a whole bunch of representatives out of a job next year because of this. Did they not realize that for many of the democratic reps that they are committing suicide to their political career? To stop this tomfoolery, call your state senators and tell them that they will be one vote less if they pass the health care bill when it comes their way. They will listen when their beloved jobs are on the line.

After the senate votes on it, then the two bills have to be merged and voted on AGAIN. So right now the only thing Libtards are celebrating is that the drunk got the key in the ignition. He still has to turn it, ...and HOPE the engine fires....

The moonbat Congress did what I predicted, they "nuked" this obscene bill through. Only one Republican, one lone traitor, voted for this obscene bill. This obscenity has no backing from the majority of Americans - middle America, the sane silent majority, or from the Republican Party. It was nuked through with a simple Democrap majority in the House, the only people in this country for the bill. Socialists, Communists, crooks, thieves, perverts voted this obscene bill through. Hussein is done, he's finished. He's pissed off the majority of the country and he and his minions are going down. He's already a lame duck: Sunday, November 08, 2009 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 30% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -10. Sixty-four percent (64%) of liberal voters Strongly Approve while 68% of conservative voters Strongly Disapprove. Those numbers are even higher among those who are "very" liberal or conservative. Watch us now...conservatives outnumber liberals in all 50 states. I feel a tsunami coming on. Hope all you moonbats know how to swim... In 2010 and 2012 WE ARE TAKING THIS COUNTRY BACK, and repealing every single one of your insane socialist bills!

I have to call Lipinski's office to find out why he voted for the bill. He has always stated that any bill that benefits illegals he would not support. Liar! The people in his district will not vote him out because running against him in the democratic party is a mexican immigration reform supporter. I have to see where the republican candidate stands on important issues.
