Addiction experts protested loudly when the Food and Drug Administration approved a powerful new opioid painkiller last month, saying that it would set off a wave of abuse much as OxyContin did when it first appeared.

So is it a higher mg long acting hydrocodone/Vicodin? Type pain med?

I been hearing rumor as far back as 2 years ago that a stronger like Vicodin pain killer was going to be coming out. Guess it's true.

Now I wonder how heavily and aggressively they will market this new pain killer to doctors, if they take the play book from Purdue pharma....well....

If it's above 20mg and instant release, then we're talking....

I was always a fan if hydro. To me it was more euphoric then oxycodone and had a little bit different buzz to it so seeing that it's going to be made without apap is kinda cool. Heard the time release to it is going to just be like the old oxys so just the coating. Didn't know they were gonna make caps though bro so that's kinda cool too. If anyone gets some and would throw up and experience thread that would be much appreciated

I only said caps bc I googled the images and that's what they came up as and were right there with the company name and all that. Maybe when they release them it will be different I dunno I guess we will find out this summer some time. I'm really interested in trying them that's for sure. Back in my 5s and 10s days I liked the Vicodin just as much as the Percocet.

Lol ya they both showed. And I did a little research and it appears it will be caps with the little beads in them. Aka easy as shit to abuse. Doses from 10-20-30-40-50 so seems to be a new pill that is going to be easy to abuse and fairly strong. Wonder how many docs are going to be tossing them to patients just because there new?

Depends how heavily the pharm industry advertises it and sends out the pharm reps to doctors offices etc. same way Purdue pharma did with OxyContin. Every specialist doctor I have been to has some kind oxy contin wall poster or something. It's pretty funny
