I never said it was my call. I don't think that abortion rights should be repealed, but I definitely do not think that abortion should be used as a form of birth control. If a person is so indigent that they can afford neither condom nor BC, and they are not resourceful enough to make use of the agencies and opportunities that offer free and reduced priced contraception, then that person is not responsible enough to have sex.

Agreed...but if a person is not responsible enough to even make sure they have safe sex what makes you think they would be responsible enough to raise a child?

Precisely why they should not be having sex, the one act on Earth that results in a child! It's a matter of opinions i guess, but a lack of responsibility and accountability is the reason that the US has the highest teen pregnancy rate of any industrialized nation. It's a sad state of affairs, it is.

They can have sex til the cows come home if that's what they want. What another woman does (or doesn't do) sexually isn't your business. That's the great thing about living here. We can all choose to do what's best for us, within the law, of course. Sex doesn't always result in pregnancy anyway. If it did, nobody would be having sex.

BTW, the outrageous teen pregnancy rate in the U.S. is thanks to none other than George W. Bush pushing abstinence only education for the last 8 years. It doesn't work. It's also the result of parents' refusal to have some very tough conversations with their daughters. It is a sad state of affairs. Sad that people who have decided to parent are shirking their responsibilities to their daughters.

Nice try.

But the popular lib culture that promotes sex to young children is driving up teen pregnancy.

Abstinence is the best way to prevent pregnancy.

But only if the kids abstain.

Which is difficult for them to do with liberals encouraging them to do it whenever they please.

Culture Creation

To debase a culture, one must first seek to destroy the family.
What method suits best that modality?

Permisquity.

Everything a child is surrounded today with is sex. From Rap ho's, to yo-mama's, or girls gone wild. Maxing out the pleasure principle is the main objective of?*(drum roll please) the Birth Control Pill.

What is in a name. Birth Control? CONTROL! lol

Control of birth and the circumvention of birth is both the agenda of Eugenics, and its intent. By definition, if nothing else. But once the child is enroute? Not to worry. We have the Margaret Sanger Feminist men haters Icon to come to the rescue with Planned Parent-hood. Does a spontaneous adventure need such planning? Or, is the selling of sex and permisquitiy not to recognize what it promotes?
Junior high school girls, and girls in general have lost any self respect in this current trend, set upon the Nation the past 30 years or more. Maxing out the pleasure principle. No longer are they asked out on a date, nor need to meet the parents. They simply now 'hook up'. Texting their private parts as a come on to boys with their text messages and cell phones.

Like a Virgin

One way to treat this malady, would be for the seemingly inconclastic sleezes who helped promote it , to not go yonder and adopt. Rather have a madonnic episode of self sentence. Put on a set of headphones, be in an abortion clinic and with EYES TAPED WIDE OPEN self sentence to witness what your song so helped to generate. Abortions being performed on 13 yr olds.

Pornography is 'violence against women'.
It began during the dark ages when the pornographers would sit under bridges and flash pictures to the monks crossing a bridge. Traveling perhaps from their monastic endeavors here and yon.

What a load of BULL, but that's all I've come to expect from moralistic imbeciles. And learn how to spell the big words like promiscuity before you post them in public, "genius." Or is using a dictionary a skill you were never taught in "school?" @@

The only ones threatened by birth control are the impotent males who want nothing more than to have total control over women's sexual and reproductive options. You know, creeps like yourself.

Good grief. I said "abstinence only education" doesn't work. Of course abstinence itself works. But here's the thing...HUMANS ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE SEX! It's a normal, natural thing! And teens don't always use their best judgment in situations where their hormones are screaming at them...so telling them "just don't do it" DOESN'T WORK! We must educate them openly and honestly, and then give them the tools to prevent STDS and pregnancy IF they become sexually active.

You know, I'm sick of you whiny a** right wing freaks blaming everything that you think is "wrong" on "liberals." Grow a pair and take responsibility for your own kids. What happens to them is NOT my fault. If your kid ends up pregnant, that's on YOU.

"But here's the thing...HUMANS ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE SEX!"

Not in our culture when they are 12.

But I understand that your message is the message of the dominant liberal culture that says its Ok for children to be as sexual as they please.

It's not a good idea, but they are too young to realize what can go wrong until it's too late.

Nothing but a distraction, an excuse to chip away at so much as an option.

After all not allowing abortions will only effect the poorest people who can't afford another child.

Then they can get public assistance to feed the child they don't want while people resent it.

Yeah, save the unborn and starve the living children.

If conservatives looked at abortion strictly from the standpoint of partisan politics then I must admit that there would be far more Obama voters in the poor neighborhoods without abortion to cull the herd.

But even unborn Obama voters are human beings who entitled to life.

You're being dishonest. Nowhere in the OP's post did she mention 12 year olds. She specifically mentioned teenagers. WHO said it's OK for children to be as sexual as they please? That's something else I DIDN'T read in the OP's post. What do you gain by twisting words?

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Cancer

Someone dear to your heart isn't exactly a barrel of laughs today, are they? Is it your imagination or are they taking a perverse delight in spreading doom and gloom in all directions? If they've got good reason to be miserable then they deserve your sympathy, but even so it may not last for long. Try to keep active and cheerful, otherwise you'll also develop a tendency to brood.
