Paul Ryan booed, applauded at AARP convention

Sep 21, 2012 Full story: The Washington Post 372

NEW ORLEANS Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan got boos - and some applause - from the crowd at AARP's annual convention here Friday morning as he touted his plan to overhaul Medicare and harshly criticized President Obama, who had addressed the group via satellite ahead of Ryan.

Our the senior citizens have worked all their lives contributing to social security. To have Mormon Rich Money write them off as "victims" dependent on government and for Paul Lyin to threaten to take away that security net for them was a reality check for them.

Adding more insult, his "joke" regarding latinos underscore his belief that he thinks Latinos vote based on ethnicity and not on their own personal beliefs and understanding of a candidate's policies.

The choice is pretty clear in November: vote for the party who looks after the 1%? or vote for the party that protects the 99%?

"Ryan's father died when he was 16, and Ryan then received Social Security survivors benefits until he was 18. He was able to save his Social Security to help pay for college. Ryan likes to talk about how he used loans to pay for college, but the fact that he went in with a big chunk of savings thanks to Social Security is something he doesn't emphasize quite as much."

**********

Romney, Ryan, and Rubio: The three stooges.

Romney insults Ryan and Rubio and they take it.

From that clip he insulted Paul Ryan with his "victim" comment and Rubio with his "latin" "joke". And these two will still stand by him.

Why do I get the impression that I know the type of person Mormon Rich Money was in high school? And the Ryan and Rubio are the two stooges he made fun of at their expense?

The Republican RINO plan is simple:

1) Tax the poor and middle working class because they believed they are "victims too dependent no the middle class", and

2) Cut taxes for the rich because they are struggling during these tough economic times.

Very strange. Paul Ryan got booed out of his Town Hall meetings all last spring when he said he wanted to over-turn Obamacare to give us vouchers and privatize social security. When Romney brought Ryan in as his running mate, I thought .....oh great. Here we go.

Romney says he is not going to privatize social security but his running mate is out there still talking about it? Something is rotten in Denmark and Romney is lying. You do not send your running mate out to talk about something you do not plan on having.

Ryan is radical and way too raical for me. He is right up there with Allen West and Joe Wilson who is both nuttier than a 3 dollar bill.

Ryan was talking to the wrong people today. AARP has already looked at Ryans plan and said it's tragic for seniors. It also opens up the "donut hole" many fell through each year costing them out of pocket hundreds of dollars.

Karl Rove warned the GOP that if President Obama was successful in getting the Affordable Care Act passed and turned into law that it would never be overturned; and the Supreme Court proved just that when they deemed OBAMACARE Constitutional… the right-wingers days of using “OBAMACARE” as a pejorative is over.

Obama’s name will forever be synonymous with a new century Health Care System… thank a right-winger for calling it that, LOL!

Since I read, with great interest, Kimberley Strassel's piece on the cooperation between the AARP and the WH on writing this abomination called Obamacare, I am not surprised. They worked hand in hand with Obama and his minions to write the Obamacare law, despite the fact that seniors would be thrown under the bus. What I find distasteful, is that they would be so LOW CLASS as to actually BOO a featured speaker. THAT tells us that this is a progressive crowd. THEY are the ones with no class perfectly happy to disrespect AN INVITED SPEAKER, sort of like how Obama invited Paul Ryan, telling him that he would be "pleasantly surprised" at what the president had to say, only to be placed in the front row so Obama could disparage him from his higher pulpit! Obama has skin thinner than the outer layer of an onion. He is disrespectful of all he deems less "Elevated" than him. We don't need a demi-god for a president, we need a man who knows how to run a business, how to cut costs and not kill the economy.

It's funny how the Republican RINOs are now shifting their stance from "repeal" to "repeal and replace". It just shows that it was never about big government. Or socialism. It was all about power.

The American people are wising up to the Republican RINOs/TEA Party. This group will intentionally sabotage things if things don't go their way....at the expense of the working middle class.

Two years was enough and come November the American people are ready to fire Speaker Boehnor, Cantor, and Grover Norquist.

Your posts would carry more weight if you only knew what you were talking about, if only it were something YOU had researched and come to a conclusion, unfortunately, all you are capable of is repeating the DNC lying and misleading talking points. Pity, what a waste of a functioning (we think) brain. Did you know that "Journalists" of the MSM have an approval rating of around 30%? Hmmm, could that be because they just tell you one falsehood after the other in order to prop up their messiah Obama? They are LYING TO YOU, every day, they are printing the DNC talking points no matter what they are and no matter if they have ANY basis in actual facts. If I weren't so disgusted, I would pity you for your ignorance.

Another clueless lemming, believing everything the MSM prints. It's pitiful, really pitiful how totally clueless they are. I haven't the time or inclination to correct this mindless prattle by just one more lemming. Piece of advice, do a little fact checking, do a little research of your own, do not just buy into what you hear on ABC.CBS,NBS,MSNBC OR CNN. They ALL are taking their talking points from the WH, word for word. Try this, DVR as many as you can, then you will see, each and every one of them says EXACTLY THE SAME WORDS, NO DEVIATION, NO STRAYING FROM THE SCRIPT. Now, what, LOGICALLY, would that tell you??????? Hint - they have been give a script, they know exactly what to say and they DO NOT DEVIATE from that script because they are JUST TALKING HEADS! They are not journalists, they are not out getting the facts and the story, all they are doing is sitting int their offices, sipping a latte, reading Vanity Fair and waiting for the teleprompter to be programed with the words they will recite on TV. Really, this isn't rocket science, even a 4th grader could figure it out.
