Bravo! Get the bums out of Benicia.

Protect such a lovely city and the special place that it is.

The Seeno "machine" is not needed in a City as nice as Benicia.

Watch out for yourselves and your children, Benicia citizens. Protect your hometown from unscrupulous developers who do the greedy, distructive and dishonest things that Seeno does.

Hope that those Seenos really do leave Benicia alone!

Mayor of Pittsburg, Sal Evola (not Viola) is actually nephew to Albert Seeno Jr, and the cousin to Albert Seeno III.

"Albert Junior" is the bigshot in many of the Seeno Family operations and "Albert the Third" (along with his cousin - Mayor Sal Evola)run Discovery Builders (among some other things.)

They and other Seeno family members are involved in many, many, many Seeno Family "operations" of questionable Construction & Development in the western states, as well as many Nevada Gaming & Casino operations.

The Seenos have many politicians in their pockets. You have to, when you get that big. People do not acquire that much wealth without a certain degree of moral corruption. It just doesn't happen. And they've been "at it" since the 1930's with the grandfather Albert Seeno (the first.) Who even knows what went on with this group, but some of the family members who came from Italy did not want to be associated with this branch of the family. Why?

One wonders about a lot of things regarding the Seeno Family.

They use so many different names for their various business involvements; you can't even tell when it's "Seeno." It's all a very complex web of people duped into working for them, the company attorneys, politicians and other criminals.

Why were their corporate headquarters in Concord raided by the FBI and IRS in recent months? This "family" has several generations of experience in buying whatever and whomever they want. Someday someone will write the expose, and then someone else will do a film or a TV series.(Hope Francis Ford Coppola will produce it.)

Letting corporations write the rules gives us tragedies like the Gulf oil spill and mining disasters. To those defending Seeno and/or bashing Benicia's mayor, how many times do you have to be hit over the head before you recognize something is wrong?

Yes ! Absolutely correct! And "Real Change " won't happen until we change the election process, as long as multi millionaires and billionaires are the only ones that can run for office, totally excluding the common man with real common sense and concerns for their country ,state, counties and cities, we as a country will continue to go into the third world abyss.

Evola! Right, I stand corrected, but we all know who were talking about. Thanks for your additional information, some I already knew and some not. I really would not like to see a movie about the Seeno family, I don't think they're worthy, Besides, Albert the third is dumber than a box of rocks, and in my opinion will drive the company into the ground, he may be on his way to doing that now!

<quoted text>100% correct! He did try taking over Benicia's council and Mayor's seat! I know! I got arrested trying to stop it. Bill Whitney was the guy Seeno was trying to make Mayor, Alan Swartzman and PGandE employee Councilman Hughes were to be the other puppets, it's very disturbing they were re-elected, but there wasn't much to choose from
What happened to Whitney? I heard he stopped paying his bills and is now a deadbeat known all over town.
