I am supporting independent Eliot Cutler in the race to be Maine's next governor because he is the only one of the three announced candidates with deep environmental ties and the in-depth experience to be effective.

Elliot Cutler is from the old school, the Global Warming School of environmental activism. Global warming has been proved a fraud by pseudo-scientists armed with faked data, and preposterous predictions about dead polar bears, sea level rises, and no more snow. It is -26F in northern Maine as I write this post!

The government, has concocted to excise a huge regressive carbon credit tax on everyone supposedly to address human-caused global warming. Carbon credit trading is a scam invented by Wall Street to make Wall Street traders rich. Carbon credit trading will do nothing to address the real problems in the environment. That is the old school of environmental activism Elliot Cutler is from.

The really big environmental problems are issues like Fukushima, the DeepWater Horizon oil spill, genetic engineering and nanotechnology. Poisons are being spread all over the planet at an alarming rate. The effect of these poisons is as yet not entirely understood. But rest assured, the future is going to be in for some really horrible environmental problems. Elliot Cutler is on the wrong side of the wrong issue.

The issues facing Maine in the upcoming gubernatorial election are not about the Maine's ecology. And Maine's Governor cannot effectively address nuclear regulations, or the regulation of genetic engineering.

The issues facing Maine in the upcoming election for Governor are all about facing the fact that Maine, with just over a million people, is nine billion dollars in debt. Our debt grows daily because Maine in essence is borrowing money to pay the interest on its debt. Maine's growing fiscal obligations continue to outstrip the ability of the state to raise tax revenue, without further impairing Maine's economy.

I am going to continue supporting Governor LePage, because he is talking about the economy, and talking about waste in our state government. We all know it's true. This is the big problem.

Let's keep the race clean. I am an artist. I have composed a talking/song in support of Governor LePage and supporting his reelection. Let's hear from other artists about who they support for Governor.

Together artists can help explain the important issues to voters. Our state elections are far too important not to write a song in support of someone. Let's hear your voice!
