My brother worked for sutherland and really disliked it. However, someone recently told me that they love it there. I am wondering if I can believe this now, she claims that sutherland flies her to other offices, in the past three weeks she's been to NYC twice!! I mean if these are the kinds of perks to look forward to I might apply there myself. Does this sound right to anyone who has worked there recently? She explained that they are flying her out to NYC, chicago, philidelphia and other places to see baseball and football games, drop off tickets to clients, and visit these other offices. She also said she is not the only sales rep to go, they send about 4 each time. they also spring these trips on her, like this week she found out Thursday she was going to NYC today. She works in the Stubhub department. It seems like almost everyone who has spoken here has had some sort of sour experience with Suth, is this person lying to me about these perks to recruit employees??? Or is she just a terrible friend. I know this has nothing to do with the lawsuit but I am so curious and do not know of anyone else to ask about this. This blog seems an appropriate place to get the truth about this company.

OK, so watch out big huge hiring blitz began in August this year and will run until about December. So all of those idol threats of loosing your job may not be so idol this year. If you are making more then minimum wage and have been threatened with your job in the past few months .. WATCH OUT. The universe program has no desks left yet another +200 people are being hired in a blitz. where are they going to sit? MAYBE AT YOUR DESK. And don't think that you will get any help because in the end you will be FUCKED just like everyone else.(not fucked like Jackie or Cynthia doing the bosses, like fucked as in fired with no justification even though they make you sign those fake warnings that they will never give you a copy of.) Dilip does know all thats going on...as long as cash flows who the hell bothers?..whether you fall sick, or you have a problem with your boss or you are insulted/illtreated? no one...only the lower level employees can group together on blogs etc etc and lament...NOTHING'S GONNA CHANGE THEIR STYLE FOR US! This corporation has only been in existence since 1986. This is a fairly new company that has already incurred several complaints against it that are legitimate. My suggestion to Mr.Vellodi:
Take your India-like mind and keep it over in India and all the other third world countries where you're opening up new call centers. You are obviously not opening more in the US because us Americans are not tolerant of such coerciveness. Otherwise, you would open up more. When is the last time you actually donated any charitable funds to the stakeholders in Rochester out of which you are incorporated? Hmmmmmmm, are you embarrassed yet?

AMEN to that. yes indeed i also blame the people who live in windsor and work as managers and supervisors and ALLOW and PARTICIPATE in this kind of activity. HELL, THIS IS NOT INDIA and the very fact that you feel you have a right to treat any one the way we are treated is just SINFUL. YOU TOO MY DEAR FRIENDS ARE ONE DAY AWAY FROM TAKING A JOB THAT PAYS YOU JUST ENOUGH TO FEED YOUR FAMILY AND PAY THE RENT. If you have been fired from sutherland for any reason
please make sure you fight for your
TERMINATION PAY.
sutherland feels that if they write you up it will be their notice to you that you may be fired. this is not the case and you need to fight for it.
contact the labor board right away and put in a claim
you are in the right no matter what sutherland may tell you. Even if you are told that sutherland has given you the notice, ensure that you take it to arbitration. you WILL GET YOUR MONEY.

I have worked at Sutherland for almost a decade. In that time I have been a rep a team leader and a supervisor and back to a rep. While I was a supervisor the union vote came about. I was made to tell my team members that they had to vote no otherwise Dilip would take our jobs and move them to India... Well look at this, it is now 5 years later and how many Sutherlands are still in the US? And how many are over seas and in Canada?
The place is filled with incompetent management members who keep their heads down and instead of protecting their team members they throw them under the bus.
If you currently work there, keep your head down and mouth closed, this is the only way to survive there. If you are thinking of applying, don't, work at McDonalds, work the corner, work anywhere but this company! I am what you would call a lifer, I am stuck. But there is still hope for you!

They fired one of the asshole supervisors but for a very effed up reason. He was black and the and also because he was making more money than the team manager. So they paid these girls extra commission to say that he sexually harassed them and then used that to fire him... with no other proof than these 9 hoes lyin. The manager was having financial problems to the point he even stole from a woman who was selling GS cookies for her daughter. I know he took the money he was the only one that had access to the room where the money was kept, but to sweep it under the rug they gave her a preffered schedule and took up a faux collection for her ..........Yep on the Intuit Websites team ......but the black guy kinda had it coming cause he was an ass licking -koolaide drinking arrogant ass, who forgot he was black...but it was fucked up how they did him.....and it's so fucked up how they treat employees. No training /poor training/supervisors that make exceptions for their f-buddies and heaven help you if they do not like you, one of the girls on the team there is dumb as hell can't read or write but has slept with several managers so she is untouchable......but the jokes on them because one of the girls that the managers like to ahem sleep with is HIV+......sooooooooooo.......K Arma is a bitch....

early Saturday morning individuals hacked into the Aristotle servers at Sutherland Global Services. The system was down on Saturday and was reported down to the GSI team on Monday morning.

The GSI team at Sutherland out of India first reported all data on the servers was gone. An illegal entry into the system had taken place and basically the hackers had access to all data on these servers for a two day period before they wiped the servers clean.

The data on these servers includes:
All Sutherland apprentice records
o Name, DOB, SIN, grades, addresses, phone numbers, email
Work at home files
o WAH management claimed all of their data was intact (but was it copied)
Employee information from the global training sessions recently mandated
o All US employees attended this training online (info needs further investigation)

GSI India conducted an investigation that concluded that the hackers may have been internal employees at Sutherland.

A cover up of the incident was enacted at the highest level as Sutherland executives did not want employees to find out their personal information was stolen by hackers.

I have seen managers fired including the HR manager and the program director when they tried to do the right thing. There are multiple emails internally which backup the incident taking place. Some of us have access to these.

First off I do not work there nor have I ever. But I do know people that have worked there and not one of them has had one good thing to say about it. I know 5 different people that have worked at Windsor location and reading what people have commented is right in line with what my friends have told me. That and you get treated like crap their. Also I went to College with 2 guys that had quit there and 5 months later they could still access their accounts at southerland and still check people's blackberry accounts. Talk about a huge lack of security.

And you kind of get an idea of how bad a place it is when they are always and I do mean always advertising that they are hiring. For the last 2 years I have been receiving daily emails from the jobbank.on.ca for Windsor area, and at least 3 to 4 times a week sutherland has postings on there, Ive seen them looking for as many as 25 postings in one week. Tells you how often they go through employees.

Even my teachers in College told us all to stay away from sutherland, thats gotta tell you something right there. I was at an employment agency a few weeks ago in Windsor(not going to say which one) I asked if there were any IT jobs available and they told me not really. And that the only thing they knew was available was Sutherland but they told me that I shouldn't even consider it. This coming from a employment agency that basically will take anyone...

Just cuz they pissed me and so many other ppl off I have over 186 people willing to go on strike and signed documents to provide to labour law fior what the hell this lame ass company is doing. But just need little more tine for a big hit.
