Sutherland Global Services Faces Class Action Lawsuit

Sutherland Global Services, formerly known as The Sutherland Group is facing a collective action (known as a class action) lawsuit for not paying their employees overtime and/or commissions.

Sutherland is one of Rochester's largest employers, employing several thousand in the local area.

Within the first week or two of June, notices are expected to go out to some 18,000 current and former U.S. employees of Sutherland informing them of the case and giving them the option to join the class-action suit. Some employees could be affected as far back as October 11, 2002.
