We're thinking about starting a post-C&A support group called The Suckers Club.

The smart people who are watching zeros come accross their releases for raw material will get out quick. If you really want to know how long your plant has left don't ask those in management or your union, ask the person who is watching how much raw material you need. They have a 12 week out-look that says it all.

Okay, now are we trying to be funny in a bad situation? Hopefully something will be done before the company is sold.

The waiting game is all we can do for now. There is no sense in getting all stressed out or as the saying goes don't put the cart before the horse.

I have to have a little humor in any situation, or I'd go nuts.

I always hate to hear when a plant closes whether it is a C&A plant or not.

I feel for you all. We're still waiting to see what Ford is going to do here. We have two plants - KTP and LAP. Ford is what helped to build the City of Louisville. If one or both go under, our city will eventually begin to crumble, financially speaking. UPS is here. City government thinks they hung the moon. I've heard UPS hires part time workers and most are usually temporary. I wouldn't want to depend on feeding a family working for them. It's hard to work a second job while working for them because if your schedule changes the least little bit and conflicts with your other work schedule, UPS usually says good-bye. There's twenty more people in line behind you. It would be a better than nothing job so you wouldn't have to live off the government, but as I said, not one I personally would depend on to help take care of anyone but yourself.
